We will be arriving around 6pm on a Friday and not going to the parks that night. We are staying on Harbor but I'm thinking of walking to Downtown Disney for dinner that night.

We don't want to spend what it would cost for Goofy's Kitchen since we've done that before. Any suggestions for dinner in the under $30pp range?

We are 2 40something adults with DS15 and DD13.

Thanks!

I think the big favorite for DTD is Brennan's, but for dinner, that may not be possible for $30pp. The price would probably also eliminate another personal favorite of mine, Catal.

We've always been happy with the pizza and paste and Naples (but other reviews are mixed), and others like Tortilla Jo's (we have never eaten there, it just never appeal to us with so many other Mexican/CalMex options in the LA/OC).

We really like Ralph Brennan's, we've only ate at the walk up window there, but they have the BEST beignets! This trip we might eat in the restaurant. Last July we ate at Tortilla Jo's and we all enjoyed our food.

We're big fans of Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Especially if we get seats upstairs on the balcony.

I'll check out the menu at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Thank you.

Another vote for Catal :yay: If you get a table on the balcony and time it right, you can see the Disneyland fireworks during dinner! It's awesome!

I also really like Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. The prices are in-line with what you'd expect from a theme park area, but the portions are pretty decent sized.

I also like Storyteller's at the Grand Californian Hotel. It has a mixed a la carte menu or buffet at dinner.

We really like Jazz Kitchen as well.

We also always do a dinner at Naples (Italian), which isn't that bad price wise - comparatively of course!

If the weather is nice, Uva is our favorite. It's the outdoor bar in front of Catal. Great food and drinks, complete with DTD people watching. Fantastic fries.

I have not done Jazz Kitchen in years and had kinda written it off for some reason. We ate there this year for our NYE trip and with a group of 10 from adults to kids we all left thoroughly impressed...so another recommendation for them here.

Catal also great. The balcony overlooking DTD is great of it is open.

Napa Rose is my absolute favorite but probably wont fit your budget criteria.

For me Naples is just "meh" and ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe are too chain reasturanty mediocre food.

...but you can never go wrong with Wetzels Pretzels washed down with some Haggen Dazs for a classy night out!

I second the meh on Naples. Pretty much anything but that. Storyteller cafe is really good.

Uva Bar is my go-to. If it's chilly, they have heaters, so I usually end up over there.
I personally enjoy Naples, but I've heard it can be hit or miss.

Also at the Garden Walk complex is Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., PF Changs, McCormick and Schmicks, California Pizza Kitchen, and a Cheesecake Factory, as well as a few more like Johhny Rockets and I want to say an Irish themed bar. The restaurants seem to be the only places getting business, otherwise the complex is pretty barren.

I also highly recommend the Pizza Press, soooooooo crave-able!

DTD is fun and lively, and good meals can be found at the quick service counters at Ralph Brennan's and Tortilla Jo's if all else fails. Most of the treats found in the park's candy stores can be bought at Marceline's Confectionery in DTD, if you find yourself in need of a caramel apple!

Have fun planning!

The Irish Bar is McFadden's, located near the new home for House of Blues, and the current night clubs, Heat UltraLounge and Rumba Room Live.

And you forgot Roy's, one of my favorites at AGW, but not cheap. (I celebrated my wedding anniversary there earlier this month)

Both Bowlmor Anaheim and the 24 Hour Fitness are doing quite well at the AGW

Another place I love in DTD is Earl of Sandwich. I really like their sandwiches and salads and they are pretty reasonable. My daughter craves their turkey sandwiches and wishes we had one near us!
