Downtown Disney Orlando ?

I'm sorry if this should be somewhere else, but I couldn't figure out where that would be, so here goes:

I understand that Downtown Disney currently has some construction going on? Is that correct? How bad is it? How long is it supposed to be going on for?

Well I was just there, got back yesterday. We stayed at POFQ and took the boat to DTD quite a few times. The construction is pretty bad. There is one boat dock near the hot air balloon. There are walls up all over and it makes it very hard to get around and very crowded. On the last day there we discovered it is much easier to go to the Market Place side via the parking lot walk way. Not very scenic but much less crowded.

I know I've heard how long but I can't remember. By the look of it and what I've seen they want to do, my guess would be at least a year. But I don't know. I knew I wasn't coming back anytime soon so I didn't pay attention.
