Downtown Disney: New Disney Springs logo, new shops by Disney Quest coming soon

I was at Downtown Disney today in WDW. I noticed something new near the art gallery past the AMC and Splitsville where they are building the new parking garage (which they are up to the 3rd level now by the way). It's a picture of the new official Disney Springs logo along with the opening date of "Spring 2016":

Also, next to the exit of the Disney Quest Emporium shop they now have boards up where they are building both a new Wetzels Pretzels and a Häagen-Dazs. It's a great location considering that the side of the Disney Quest building is just a tall bare structure.

Are they changing the name or adding a new section?

They're changing the name,they're adding a bunch of parking garages,they're expanding the amount of retail space and bringing in a bunch of new stores and restaurants,mostly around the middle of the complex,the old Pleasure Island area.Although there is going to be changes and additions in both the West Side and the Marketplace,they're building a bridge to get from the corner of the marketplace to around T-Rex.There's also supposed to be some kind of catwalk going in the West Side. They're removing the bus stop in the Marketplace and there will only be one bigger bus stop near the middle of the complex,basically a whole lotta changes.I think it was definitely needed,the whole complex was getting stale,I just hope all the new stores going in won't take away too much of the Disney factor as there will be a lot more traditional stores going in.
