Hi Guys,

Looking to book some group space for some of my wedding guests at one of the Downtown Disney hotels.

Any advice on them?
Any I should avoid?

Thanks for you help!:goodvibes

Hotel Royal Plaza has rooms available till Dec 24,th (through Mousesavers newsletter) for 79.00 which includes an upgrade to a deluxe room and 2 free buffet breakfasts per each nights stay. It has nice sized rooms and a 10 minute walk to DTD

I have stayed one night at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Downtown Disney. It was very nice. All of the rooms were suites. Had a seperate Bedrrom from the living room with a little kitchen type area. They also had transportation to Disney. If I was not staying at a Disney property I would go there again.

Also is it true that guests at the DownTown Disney resorts get to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours?

All of my previous stays have been at Disney owned resorts or right off property so I have no clue what I am doing in terms of the DTD resorts! :confused3

Buena Vista Palace was fine as well. Does it definitely have to be at DTD? You could try and get a group rate at the Swan or Dolphin, which are Westin and Sheraton properties, respectively, and both really nice - right on the boardwalk.

No, the Hilton is the only DTD resort (Hotel Plaza resorts) that offers EMH.
