Downtown Disney help

Hi! i dont think this is possible but what do you guys think?

if we get back to our hotel by 7:40, can we take the ferry from POR to Downtown Disney, eat at a restaurant, come back by ferry, and make a 9pm horse drawn carriage ride? (we should be there by 8:45, but im thinking about changing my carriage reservation time to a 9:30 one, which would require us showing up at 9:15).

if not, what are other ways that we can go to Downtown Disney for food and back in time? like if we're back at our hotel by 7:30 and then have to come back at 9:15 for a 9:30 ride, would that allow us to visit downtown disney??

I don't think that is manageable at all honestly. Going to DTD will be a quiet ride on the boat but as the night gets later the line to come back on the boat will get longer and you may have to wait for a second boat. Even so If you got on a boat at 740 and got there by 8 where are you going to eat and get back on a boat to get back by 845 even the later time is cutting it tight. I'd suggest eating in the food court at the hotel that night so you're right where you need to be for the carriage or making other dinner arrangements. We've stayed at PoR 3 times now and know when we go to DTD we eat at TS and not QS but even with QS the time crunch is too much.

Where are you planning to eat? The last time we went to EoS for dinner, we had to wait about 15 minutes to order, and then it took a few more minutes to get our food.
