Our first evening in Disney we are thinking of unpacking, maybe going for a swim and then heading to Downtown Disney. We have the dining service plan (basic) and were hoping to hit one of the counter service restaurants. Do they have a such thing at Downtown Disney? I don't see anything about Downtown Disney and the dining plan in any of our books!

Yes, they do. I think the most popular are Wolfgang Express and maybe Earl of Sandwich. Sorry...not more help. We only do Fulton's for table service at Downtown Disney. I'm sure someone will come in and give you more of a lead on this.

I've been to both Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich and much prefer WPE. The food is more like restaurant quality and so very good! :thumbsup2

Loved Puck Express in Marketplace at DTD. Order at the counter, but the CM's take your food and drinks to the tables. Really good food and friendly CM's. Earl was good, but very crowded.

We ate at Earl of Sandwich and it was very good, but that was the only place at DTD we ate, but we will go back cause the sandwichs are very good and the line was long, but went very quickly, oh and the tomato soup was excellent also.

Both EOS and WPE are very good. You can check out their menu's on allears.net :)

We love WPE - great food, and lots of it. Considered counter service, but you can sit and enjoy your meal that is brought to you after ordering as previous poster said.
Gatorlady - just have to say what a gorgeous picture with Belle!

In addition to the above, Raglan Road and Bongos also have a counter service
take-out place. The RR location has another name that I can't remember but
it's right around the corner from the main entrance to the restaurant. YUM.

The CS by RR is Cooke's of Dublin and it is on the DDP.
