Downtown Disney Doubletree Renovations?

Does anyone have the inside as to when renovations for the Doubletree Suites LBV will be complete? The Reno rooms look really good but there have been a lot of bad reviews written about the construction noise. We are going in March.

Also, does anyone know what the "patio" rooms are like? They have a really good rate for the 2-queen Reno patio suites and I'm not sure why it would be discounted more than the other 2-queens.

based on their website, I think all the renos might have been completed by now. I am torn between there and going to the Embassy Suites in LBV. Anyone done both that can offer some guidance? We have only ever stayed at the DoubleTree. I have to admit, the newly renovated rooms is a big pull for us... we already loved the hotel for the staff and convenience, and this seems even better. The only downside is the parking fee...

Just leaving the Doubletree and had a wonderful stay. We only heard noise briefly and it was no big deal. Our room was brand new, with the most comfortable pillows and mattress. We hardly wanted to leave because of how comfy the room was! You will be totally fine! My only complaint is the $14 parking fee! $42 bucks for 3 nights is tooooo high!
