Downtown Disney and Boardwalk Questions

I have a few sort of random questions.

Are there any decent quick serve restaurants for dinner in the Boardwalk area? Any not so expensive table service ones?

Also, we are looking for a table service restaurant rec in Downtown Disney. Not too pricey. My party is DH, me, DS7, DS4.5, grandma and grandpa. We've already been to Dinosaur and not sure my parents will like Rainforest Cafe. Is Raglan Road good for kids? Any other suggestions?

Captains Grille in the Yacht Club is a pretty decent TS that is not that expensive and was one I was pleasantly surprised with. As for Ragland Road, I dined there for the first time a few weeks ago and loved the atmosphere and the food. I don't think you will have any problem with the kids there.

ESPN Zone at the BW is pretty good and not too expensive. The BW bakery has some sandwiches and there's a pizza window next to the Italian restaurant. The Fountain in the Dolphin resort is similar to Beaches & Cream but bigger and tastier.

The Boardwalk Bakery is on the dining plan, and their sandwiches are quite large IMHO. Pastries are yummy, and you can refill your mug there too. Pizza is decent at the pizza window too. The hot dog cart is great and inexpensive, but doesn't take the dining plan (it's run by an outside company - and their food is sort of made to order so it takes a couple of minutes). All of those are fine on the Boardwalk, and it's fun to get a table and people watch.
I don't care for any of the table service places at the Boardwalk. Eaten at many - yeah my DH likes ESPN Zone. Oh, wait, the Big River Grill is an option - decent enough burgers and beers too, table service.

I haven't been to Downtown Disney (Disney Springs) in a couple of years! Going next month though, to bid a fond farewell to Disneyquest. Planning on doing Wolfgang Puck's Express (we're on the QS dining plan) for lunch or dinner that day. It gets great reviews, so don't discount it since it's counter service. They bring you your food on real dishes, and refill your drinks. It seems to have a nice selection as well.

Both ESPN & Big River Grille on Boardwalk are reasonably priced sit-downs. Fountain inside Dolphin is nearby; Picabu is a 'buffeteria' inside Dolphin too.

We enjoy Big River Grille on many of our visits. Never seems to be too crowded and love getting the beer flights.

This post was very helpful for my planning of upcoming trip. Staying at YC and arrival will be late around 7ish. I didn't want to make a ADR for fear of a delay on flight. I was thinking of a nice stroll over to the Boardwalk and maybe the hotdog cart or pizza window. I'm glad they are both decent.

QS - The BW Bakery or YC/BC Beaches and Cream
TS - Raglan RD or Wolfgang Puck Express which is a mixture of QS & FS.

My 7 yo DD loved Raglan Road on our last trip! Would highly recommend for kids.

To clarify:
Beaches & Cream at the YC/BC is a TS restaurant. There is a to go "window" with a very limited menu that is QS
Wolfgang Puck Express is a QS restaurant. The bring the food to your table like they do at a table service restaurant, but it is a QS credit.
We have enjoyed ESPN and Big River Grille at the Boardwalk for TS that do not require ADR's
Have Fun
