I just downloaded the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for my upcoming cruise (next week). It downloaded, I scrolled through a few "intro" type screens, and then it said "You're All Set!" I thought I would have to sign in to my DCL account or something, or at least plug in which cruise I am on. Does that seem right?

  1. It won't fully work until you are on the ship's wifi. *sigh*
  2. As far as signing in, since the update has gone thru, you probably will need to sign in, but someone who has been on a cruise since the update (in the last week) will have to answer that.
  3. So jealous that you cruise next week!!!!

As above, pre-cruise, the app doesn't do anything except offer a countdown clock for your cruise. Once aboard and you connect to the DCL GUEST wifi, the app connects and includes all the Navigator features for your ship and cruise. But you do want to download and install the app ahead of time so you're ready to use it once on board.

On the last page, click the box that says “Reset Your Clock”. A calendar will pop-up where you can click on your sail date. THe countdown clock will then show the number of days until your cruise. This is about all the App can do until you get on the boat.
