Two sets- the blue tint was 'as shot' the others have the white balance corrected. Which do you prefer?

Amazing!

I prefer the corrected versions although the monochromatic tone of the uncorrected is interesting too. By the way which planet were these shot on:rotfl2:

Seriously, just how did you get these shots?

I prefer the corrected ones as well but both are very gorgeous.

The blue ones look surreal.

Wow, stunning! I like the corrected versions, you notice more detail.

Someday, I may take a picture that is half as nice as any of those!!!

WOW!

I know I am weird, but I like the blue ones! They are just different.

If I had to pick I'd have to go with the corrected version - but, since I don't, I get to love 'em all.

BTW: I'd have thought you'd have used shutter priority over aperture. I see you went the other way. Any reason why?

I love them all, but I think my favorites are the uncorrected versions. They are so moody and 'otherworldly' ... just beautiful !

Nice shots. Although I prefer the adjusted set, I do like how the lichen contrasts in the original set.

Although the as shot pics are nice, I prefer to see things how they "really" are color wise. So I prefer the white balance adjusted ones much much better. Overall, they are great shots as I have come to expect from you. Great job!

another vote for the blue, adds to the dreamlike effect ,especially the rocks only one

Great shots Jeff! Both are really awesome, but the corrected versions get my vote.

Can you share your EXIF data on these shots?

I vote for the corrected versions, but the blue-tint ones are compelling images as well. Where at Disney did you take these?:confused3 :confused3

:thumbsup2 Nice!! Both are great, but i like the corrected ones! RAW is amazing!!

Hmmm....I'm torn but I think I like the original best for the effect. What white balance gave it that look? :confused3

Beautiful pictures either way!

I like the corrected one's myself.. I think its cool how you can still see some of the rocks underneath the water.

Very cool shots. The water kind of looks like it would be a lava... (though I have never seen lava in person)

:thumbsup2

I like them both....the corrected for the detail and the blue for the surreal.:thumbsup2

Great shots (as always). What shutter speed did you use for those?

I got the blue effect on accident the other day taking a portrait of an employee at work outside after I had been using it indoors with the white balance set for tungsten lighting - forgot to change it before we started outside so everything came out blue... luckily I caught it after 3 shots and we fixed it and started over. Still something fun to play with sometime deliberately using the wrong white balance for effect. :)
