Welcome to another Walt Disney Trip Leslie and Jen Style! This PTR will have lots of progress in it, I mean what would our PTR be if there weren’t a ton of changes!! We thought it would be a lot of fun for you to watch as our trip evolves through the rest of the year and experience the “few” changes over the year as they come. Our PTR is still going to revolve around the same theme and that’s “friendship”. May the PTR begin…

So when does our great big beautiful tomorrow begin. We had a dream and that’s the start…we thought back to a trip we both enjoyed immensely! We are going in the wonderful month of January! Leslie and I both adored going to Disney in January. The weather was great, no rain and it was cool, simply perfect! So it only makes sense that if we were going to do a return trip it would be in January!

The official dates: January 19th – January 25th! We will both be flying in the evening of the 19th and leaving the evening of the 25th. WOOT!!!

Well once the date was set, we had to follow this dream with our mind and heart. It’s time to progress on to where we are staying. This trip we will stay at….

POP CENTURY! I adore this value resort! It has such a great theme! I have also requested that we stay in this part of the resort.

The 80s section!! Leslie and I were both born in the 80s, in the same year, a month apart and that is only where the similarities begin LOL! So we definitely want to channel our inner 80s loving hearts and enjoy our time here. We are also looking forward to checking out the newly refurbed rooms! A picture will be taken of both us with the 1982 sign; we’ll just have to find some nice soul to take it for us! It will be a lot of fun!

Well, as I was saying, considering all the conveniences we will have at Pop Centry, I'd say that we're really on easy street in January. It just can't get any better. . .

or Can it? It’s time to Move on . . . literally. We will only be staying at Pop Century for one night, the morning of the 20th we will be checking in to a new resort a first time stay for both of us. Where will we be staying?

The Boardwalk!! WOOT!! WOOT!! Thanks to a most wonderful DISer we will be renting the points needed to stay here for the rest of our trip!! We cannot wait to spend time at this resort and to be in EPCOT area, this is going to be great!! We are looking forward to riding the boats, walking to EPCOT, and using the monorail!!! Depending on the weather Leslie may even swim at the pool, I will be wearing gloves and a scarf with hot chocolate watching her swim LOL!!!

And that is the when and where of our trip!! So let’s all sing along….

We are very excited about renting the points!!! I am very excited to be able to use C's and Anita's private entrance into EPCOT!!!

Yes we have been asked if we are sisters, we answer no we're best friends on a vacation together!! However thanks to a certain encounter with some curious faeries we may want to say from now on that we're sisters on vacay together LOL!!!

Leslie will definitely enjoy that pool if she can LOL I will bring my suit, but there will be no promises of me going in that pool, no matter how cool it is!! Thanks!!! Back in Florida we were given 6 personal days and as long as you had a sub it was never an issue. In Texas I found out recently that I will have 10 personal days (WOOT WOOT!!) and with my block schedule I will only be missing two class periods which in my book is OK with me!! Also it is highly likely that Prince P will be substituting if he doesn't find another job and he will be the sub in my room which definitely makes things a lot easier!!!

I am so super duper excited about staying at Boardwalk. I really hope it's warm enough to at least try out the slide once. I want to swim in every single Disney pool!

Before we decided to rent points, I was excited about Pop for our entire stay. I thought it would be fun to stay in the 80's section. So I'm happy that we get to experience Pop even if it's for only one night.

I love January too. Before Marc & I decided on September we were considering January since I had such a great time with the weather and crowds last January. But the warmer weather won out for pool time!
