"Down and out in the Magic Kingdom" by Cory Doctorow.
I just finished Kingdom Keepers and really enjoyed it. I'm thinking of getting the above book too but I'd like to know what the dis people thought of it.
I LOVE this book. If you like science fiction, you will definitely like it. It takes place in the future when there are different factions that control the Magic Kingdom.
There is controversy because some want the attractions to stay "classic" and others want to use new technology to update them. (Sounds familiar, eh?) People can live for basically forever and just exchange bodies. Your ranking in society is based on your "whuffie" instead of money.
I got this definition of whuffie from Wikipedia:
A person's Whuffie is a general measurement of his or her overall reputation, and Whuffie is lost and gained according to a person's favorable or unfavorable actions.

My favorite thing about this book is that apparently two WDW attractions have survived intact and unchanged into the future: the Haunted Mansion and the Adventurers Club.
It's a lot of printer paper if you print it out! The author is all about freely sharing his work. My DH printed it and his other books and read them that way but I bought the book. I can't get used to reading a whole novel on 8 1/2 x 11" paper!
