Has anyone ever stayed at DoubleTree? I see all these threads with travelers dates of visit & their hotel but never see DoubleTree listed. I love staying within the Hilton family as they have comfy beds, and we are trying out the DoubleTree this time around.

We stayed there in 2009, had a great time, but the walk was really far.

The hotel itself was very good, clean large suite, no perks such as free breakfast when we stayed there and although the pool was somewhat small, we enjoyed our stay.

We happened to be there during that brutal heat wave in Spring 2009 with many days in the high 90s and absolutely melted trying to walk, we ended up parking a few times in downtown disney and although we felt we got a good rate and the hotel was nice, not sure I would stay that far again.

Thank you. I knew it was kinda far, but we already plan on driving each morning to the parks from the hotel.
