We have enough hotel points for almost a full week at this hotel, so we are seriously considering staying there. I was just wondering if you get any of the resort benefits at this hotel, such as being able to send purchases back to your room. I know that there is a bus that takes you to the parks, but is that all?

This is not a Disney hotel even though on Disney property so no package service. "Perks" are no different than any other offsite hotel except it is on Disney property (there is a small Disney store onsite where you can buy tickets if need be). There is bus service as you point out, but we never used it as we always drove (like to control our own schedule )

If you are using Hilton Honors points, try the Downtown Disney Hilton. It is the only Downtown Disney hotel/resort with the extra magic hours for the parks, there is a Disney gift store there and a character breakfast on Sundays I believe.
