Hello all!

This is the hotel we drew for the upcoming FBLA convention. We've never stayed there, so I'm looking for comments. Anyone who has stayed there, please let me know about the room configuration, how bad is the walk to DL, what fastfood is nearby, does the nearby Target stock some food, anything you can offer.

TIA!

We stayed there in February '07. We had a suite, which was a small kitchen area with a decent size living room (sofa made out into a bed). The bedroom had two queen beds with a second TV and the bathroom. My parents had a standard room with two queen beds. There is a restaurant but meals are not complimentary. They also serve warm cookies in the evening, which my kids loved. ;) You do have to pay a small fee for the shuttle, but I don't remember how much it is. Here are a few pictures:

Overall it was a really nice place and I would definitely recommend it. A little far, but no other complaints.

Which Double Tree? There are two near DLR. We stayed at one of them last month for my DS13's jazz band competition. And if you say "Double Tree Anaheim" you will confuse me as much as they did because they both seem to call themselves that! :confused3 What street is it on, and are you sure? We thought we were at the one on Harbor but literally found at otherwise as we were driving to the hotel from the airport.

We are at 2085 S. Harbor Blvd. I didn't know some of the rooms were rooms---when the name is "Guest SUITES" not "hotel and suites", I assumed all the rooms were suites. That will annoy me, especially since this is a convention, so my students are bunking with strangers---I was hoping for the extra space for them.

Thank you for the pictures---that suite looks HUGE! Did your parents regular room have a micro & fridge?
