Has anyone stayed at this hotel? If so how did you like it? Is there anywhere to get a cheaper rate? Thanks all.

We stayed there 2 years ago (end of September, beginning of October). Our plane was the last one in to the airport as it was closing for a hurricane so our stay was definitely not typical. We stayed there as part of a timeshare promotion at HGVC International Drive. The rooms were o.k., staff was nice (very helpful and under control actually, considering the hurricane and all). The restaurant was expensive for what you got, likewise the food in the bar, but we couldn't leave for 2 days so we didn't have any choice. Didn't get to use the pool because it was closed due to the hurricane. Otherwise it was o.k. Probably not up to typical Hilton family standards but the hotel had just been taken over by Hilton. Very convenient to Universal and it didn't take that long to get to WDW.

We stayed in April - got our reservations thru tripreservations.com for $90 night. Very convenient, clean, efficient. I would stay again.

Our friends really enjoyed it. Were in the renovated tower (I think it was the North Tower). We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. I was impressed with their room. Starbucks in the lobby as well as Pizza Hut. I would definitely stay there.

When are you going? We are going the middle of June and were able to get the entertainment rate of $64 for a Universal view. I believe it was $54 without the view. What type of rate do you have?

I have not made a ressie yet. But I think that is where we will stay. We would be there 9/23 to 9/26 then on to disney. I do not have the entertainment book. Do you know where I can get one? Also, do you remember what time the shuttle takes you over to universal? I was wondering if you get there before park opening. Also wondering about sea world shuttle? Thanks for your help. :)
