Hey! Need your opinions. We are coming to WDW in May and staying at Silver Lake Timeshare. We have decided to come down 1 day early and need to book hotel just for that one night. I booked DoubleTree, but now thinking about PO riverside??? They are 6 of us, ok?

My question is if we stay at Doubletree and take the bus, do you think we could leave our car parked until late that afternoon??

Or do you think we should take our car to the park? Will we get free parking for that day?

How is the bus at Doubletree to parks? would PO riverside be a better choice???

Thanks for any advice???:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Yes, you could leave you car at Doubletree for the day, they have free parking at the hotel but NOT at the parks. If you drove to the park you would pay the same as any day guest. The buses were much more comfortable than the Disney transport buses but they run on a schedule, so if you miss one then you will wait for about half an hour. They had movies playing to keep kids entertained since it is a bit longer trip than from a Disney hotel.

As for the actual room, you will be much happier here than at Port Orleans! With 6 people you would be crammed into a tiny room. At the doubletree you will have plenty of room for all 6! Hope this helps and have a great trip! We'll be there May 7-10th at the Doubletree as well!
