Double Tree Guest Suites

Has anyone stayed at Double Tree Guest Suites (DTD) recently?
I'm planning a trip for May and need a place to stay for 10 nites before moving to the Dolphin for 5. As I'm going with my sister and DS (5), I was hoping for a bit more room, and rates at the other DTD for 2 rooms are more than I want to pay.
What's the best rate you've got at this hotel and any suggestions of preferred rooms would be great.

I'm considering staying there myself. Right now you can get a 2 room suite for $119 (no tax included) using a code I found on www.mousesavers.com That rate includes a continental breakfast. I believe also through Dreams Unlimited Travel they are advertising $99.00 a night for the doubletree guest suites. Maybe somebody else has found better deals there. I don't know but I hope that helps you a little.
Have you seen the aerial pictures yet on this DisBoard site? They are pretty neat and they have a couple of pictures of the doubletree guest suites. Check them out. They are on the home page if you just scroll down about half way.

PS- I see you are from Scotland. I would love to visit there some day. My dad was born in Glasgow. My Grandfather played for the Glasgow Celtics (soccer or as you call it football) way back when.

I've made a reservation at HIFS for $89 (ent. rate) but I would prefer to be near DTD as I really like being able to walk to the restaurants/shops/Crossroads in the evening.

Your grandad must have been quite the celebrity, playing for Celtic!
You should definately come to Scotland and check out your roots and whatever you do don't miss the Edinburgh Festival which takes place at the end of August for 3 weeks.

we stayed there in February and the staff there was excellent. The room was awesome. We've never stayed at anything but a Disney Resort up until that trip but it was so wonderful that we have decided to hopefully stay there for our November trip. Enjoy your trip!
