Double Tree DTD

Looking for feedback on this hotel. Likes, dislikes, room conditions and info on the pool area. We have stayed at the Ctyd(now the HI).

We stayed here for a 9 night stay last September. I was very pleased with the hotel for the price we paid (Mousesavers $99/night). My family is only a family of 3, but my DH is happiest with 2 room accommodations b/c he stays up later and gets up earlier than my DS and I. The room was a little beaten up, especially in the bathroom (like the hook on the back of the bathroom door was loose and some tiles were cracked on the floor and the coffee table was a little nicked up), but it certainly wasn't bad enough to make me wish I'd stayed elsewhere. The refrigerator was much bigger than I expected (about 3' tall). We only used the pool once but it was fine. We ate breakfast at Streamers nearly every day and were pleased with it (nothing remarkable, but still able to find something to enjoy each day). We never used the bus service either as we had our own car.

I would stay there again, especially for a low rate like the one we had.

Stayed there in January 2002. Hotel appeared to be on the downside. Carpets in hallways needed to be replaced as well as a new coat of pain or wallpaper. Debris in hallway stayed there the three days we were there. Refrig in room didn't work right. urniture in room needed to be replaced. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Went there based on Mousesaver's recommendation. Never rely on Mousesavers again!
