Did you bring your own or rent Disneys? What do you recommend doing? We will be flying and my kids are 4 and 3.

Honestly because of your kids ages I would recommend you bring your own stroller. Reason #1 After a long day at the park who's going to carry either sleeping child all the way back to the room from the bus? Reason #2 Who's going to carry them while ou are standing in line waiting for the bus? Reason#3 You definitely need a stroller at the park, but if it's their first time at Disney they might be a little nervous in someone else's stroller.

Honestly I'd bring two seperate strollers - one for each - and not a double stroller. This way you and DH can split up easier and also umbrella strollers are easier to fold and unfold for the bus.

Our kids are 6&9 so we rent a double stroller now...yes we still get the stroller for those ages because they still get exhausted and fall asleep midday. However I always brought strollers for years or at least until the youngest one was 4 yo because someone would fall asleep waiting for the bus or we'd have to carry from the bus to the room.

If you decide not to bring your stroller, make sure you rent the Disney stroller and pay for the ENTIRE LENGTH OF YOUR NEED of the stroller INADVANCE!!! This way you wont have to stand in any line to get a stroller. You can walk up to the attendant get your ticket stamped and get your stroller. Also you can use that same ticket on the same day for all of the parks so you don't have to pay again at each park.

The first time you rent, just tell them that you want to rent for multiple days and pay for it all then. They will give you tickets to use for the remaining days.

Keep in mind too that disney recently had a hefty increase in price on the rentals. Singles are now $15 per day or $13 per day with the multiday discount. Doubles are now $31 per day or $27 per day withe the multiday discount.

Personally, I would bring a stroller for at least your 3 year old. The rentals are hard plastic and great for older kids, but not very comfy for a little one to sleep in. You can find more information about the strollers and pictures here:

ITA! Also the WDW strollers have very little storage - just a little bag. I am too cheap to rent a stroller at WDW when I have a perfectly good one I can bring! I would rather use that money to buy something special!

We're renting a double jogging stroller from an offsite company. The cost is $85 for the entire week (we're staying 8 days), vs. $31/day for the WDW rentals. Plus the seats recline and there are storage baskets underneath. It will be a pain to schlep it on and off the monorail, but that still beats paying $200+ for the week to rent one in the parks. And best of all, they are going to deliver/pick up the stroller for free right at our hotel.

My kids turned 2 and 3 during our last trip. I went with 2 single stroller. It was so much easier than our double one. They are turning 3 and 4 next month and If I have someone else with me I still put them in seperate strollers.

I want to bring my double stroller but honestly I don't want to deal with it at the airport or on the plane etc. So I haven't decided for sure.

We usually drive, but we flew one year and I was glad to have the stroller in the airport since it kept my youngest confined and was a place to carry my carry-on stuff. We gate checked it which couldn't be easier and it was waiting for us when we landed. On the flight home, my youngest who was fine at take-off, came down with a stomach bug, spiked a fever and threw up all over me. I was SOOOOO glad to have the stroller waiting for us when we got off the plane!

If you like your double stroller, I'd say to bring it. I hated my double (Graco tandem style, hard to push, big and clunky, etc), so I brought two singles. If you feel your double is too bulky, maybe bring a lightweight single and rent a single in the parks for your oldest.
