I've been on the boats and monorails countless times but never with a stroller. Can I just wheel onto the Disney boats with a side-by-side double stroller? Specifically, the Friendship boat that goes around Epcot and MGM?

Will a side-by-side double stroller fit into the monorail?

TIA!

Yes it will fit on the monorail but you will likely have to go on a handicap car. You will not have to fold it on the Friendships either

We have a Peg Perego Aria twin. It fits through a standard size door and makes it into onto the monorail. It would fit on the boats, but most of the time I think we have been asked to fold it up to make aisle room. Even though it can get through the door, it won't really fit down the aisles (I don't think a single really would either). Maybe it is not crowded though you could park it up front.

FWIW, I love having a side by side. It is so easy to maneuver, especially compared with the tandems I tried. I can get into bathroom stalls, regular doors, etc by myself with the kids in the stroller.

I've had to fold it for the monorail because mine only fit in the handicap cars. If it wasn't busy, the conductor would direct me to the handicap car but otherwise, I'd close it up.

On the boat, it can fit and if they are not busy you can leave it open but if it's crowded you might have to close it up.

We went in 12/05 with our Peg Twin Aria and were able to roll it right onto the boats and monorail. We sometimes had to wait for an available handicap car on the monorail, so I suppose if you didn't want to wait you would have to fold up the stroller. We stayed at WL, so we took the boat frequently to MK and never had a problem rolling right on. Our twins were only 8 mos at the time, so it would have been tricky having to take them out all the time.

We've gone twice with side by side doubles and never had to fold them unless we were getting on a bus. :) We couldn't fit all the way down the aisle from one end to the other on the boat from the WL to the MK but we could do either the front or back of the boat no problem. I don't mean the uncovered part, we could go in the inside of the boat, just not all the way down the aisle. Towards the back a few of the benches were too close together. Some side by sides fit but ours didn't. Wasn't an issue, just something we noticed. :)
