We'll be travelling with DS5, DD2 and DS11mo. We were planning to take our graco single for the baby and rent a double for the other two but we'll be at the dolphin and maybe able to walk to mgm and epcot if we just buy a double jogger for ds5 and dd2. Any recommendations on what kind to get (that wont be too small for ds5) or comments on if this is even a good idea?

I think a double stroller would be a great idea. We had 3 kids a bit younger than yours. Ours was almost 3 and 2 at 13 months. We definelty needed the strollers for all 3. The oldest was really tired by the end of the day and wanted to be carried along with the other 2. I could see you running into the same situation with your kids. Actually you might be able to get away with just a double stroller for all 3 if you use a carrier of sorts for the baby like a Snugli. I would look at a resale shop for a used stroller if I were you or on E-bay. You can get some great deals if you look.

My DD's were 4 and 3 on our trip and we accidentally left our double umbrella stroller at home. It turned out to be the best thing we could have done. The rented double stroller, was easy to maneuver through the crouds, very easy for the kids to get in and out of, no risk of getting is stolen, and if it rained, a quick swipe of a towel and we were back in business. Also there was nothing to fold up and haul onto the bus which was a pain for a lot of people we saw. Ultimately we ended up carrying them at the bus stop and back to our buidling on the resort after a long day a few times but it was worth the extra effort. We are going back in April and I will definitely be renting the Disney double again.

i have twins and have tested several doubles...I LOVE the maclarens the best. Very light weight, easy to steer and fold. I would have to disagree with the previous poster about renting. If you will be walking from the dolphin.....have your own stroller. You will enjoy peaceful night walks back when when they are sound asleep in the stroller. Depending on the time of year you are going, you could be sweating your butt off carrying your children all that way.
If you do a search on this board for maclarens you will find tons of posts on them. Have a great time.

Ditto the Phil and Teds. We took it to Disney in Nov for our 4 and 2 year old. The 4 year old wasn't in it a lot so the doubles seat held all our "stuff" and if we needed to put 2 kids in we just hung the stuff from the stroller in various spots.

I've gone through a lot of strollers..around 30 and this one has been my favourite!
