We will have 7 adults, one four year old and one seven month old. We decided to rent rather then bring strollers. We are renting from Scooterbug because of the convenience of pickup at the resort (we are at Wilderness Lodge).

We are leaning towards renting two single strollers rather than a double since we have lots of adults to push and we may have a different schedule for the baby. Any things I should consider in this other than cost (we are OK with the added cost)?

is there a stroller from ScooterBug that has an adjustable handle since we have adults who are short and very tall.

Are there accessories we should get?

Any other suggestions are appreciated, this is our first trio to the parks with little ones!

A) How are you getting to Disney? Flying or driving? If flying are you non-stop or do you have a layover? Just my own experience, with a long-ish layover, I needed a stroller to travel with me.

I know Bob strollers have adjustable handlebars, but they can be unwieldy and you'll want something to fold easily for when you travel by bus (if you plan at all on traveling by bus). If I were set on renting two strollers, I'd probably rent 2 city minis...

We are flying non stop and we have a van rented for travel at WDW. We aren’t planning to use the buses. We are visiting all four parks and a couple character breakfasts.

Thank you!

Just an FYI, they rearrange the stroller parking all the time, so where you park your stroller may not be where you find your stroller. That's why I'd be more inclined to rent a double (only have to play hide and seek with one stroller instead of two).

Hmmm, good point. Good thing there are seven adults! I have one of the remote locators where I attach a square to my keys and can use the remote to find them. Wonder if that will work for strollers.

I vote for two. That way you have options. People can take turns pushing, you can take one kid one place and the other somewhere else...Plus those huge ones are a pain in the neck in crowds.

We always used two. It worked out perfectly.

We met a family a few years ago that had gotten a double with another family member and it did not work out at all. The one would be asleep and want to go somewhere quieter while the other was pushing to go other places with it. They ended up after the first day going out and buying their own stroller to have and do with as they wished. Have always remembered that and if in that position, I would do 2.

with your group I would go with the 2 singles. all it takes is baby needing a major diaper change and older one is heading for favorite ride on other side of park. who gets the double stroller?

Two singles because the baby may have a different schedule. Two singles makes it easy to split up for diaper changes, bottles, etc. for baby while the older one is perhaps doing something else. We used to do two singles when we had one in diapers and one potty trained (they’re 2.5 years apart). We found it to be very helpful to be able to separate as needed.

Double citi mini. Regular should be fine for the ages of your children but you can get a double citi mini GT if some of you are tall. I say double because it’s possible your group may break off so I wouldn’t assume all seven adults will be there all the time. We do big family trips to Disney all the time and we never all stay together. The kids just have a different sleep schedule than the adults and can’t say at the parks as long. They also ride different rides. The citi mini is pretty light weight and super easy to fold on transportation. It also has great sunshade, lays nearly flat, is easy to push, and should come with a rain cover (check). We’ve rented them for years and are renting another double in a couple months. I always end up with our 3 kids while my husband and other adults are riding bigger rides. I’ve never had an issue with a double.
