double stroller & monorail??

A front to back double stroller will fit but I am not sure about the side by side ones.

We were there in January- Not very crowded in the morning so we didn't fold our double--just pushed it right in. It was a side by side.

We did fold it at the end of the day b/c it was more crowded.

Hope that helps!

Thanks that does help. The stroller we are taking might be a tad wider. It is a stroller but also converts to a bike trailer. It is a bit more difficult to fold up than a regular stroller so I just wanted to prepare myself. I will just have it already folded before we get on.

We were there last week and we had a family get on after us that had to be about 8 ppl and there were already about 6 or 7 in the car and the pushed their side by side double jogger into the monorail unfolded with no kids. Yes is was crowded. Wishes had just ended, and there were no EMH that night errr... I must say this was the only time I got mad about a stroller at disney this trip. And to make it worse... the kids didn't even get back in when she got the stroller in. They sat on the bench:eek::headache: Ok rant over... please don't beat me for my rant, I just think it's a curtousy thing, especially when the park is closing :confused3 just MHO

So to answer your question... the side by side doubles fit

We are going in December with our daughter (7) and son (17 months at the time). We are considering bringing our own umbrella stroller. Is it safe to leave it unattended with no personal items in it while we go on rides (using kid swap)?

There are some reports of strollers being stolen but with as many strollers that are in the park every day I think it is pretty rare. Just put something on it like a bandana or something so it is easier for you to find. And know that CM's do move strollers around to make room for more strollers.

We were there May 9-15 and rented a double stroller from Orlando Stroller Rentals. When the monorail was not crowded I boosted the side-by-sider on in and let my boys sit in in it (left more room for others in seats). I was able to fit it in with some space. Lots of other people were also doing the same.

I have not measured the door to the monorail, but a wheelchair accessible door may be as narrow as 32 inches wide. Many are wider (like 36 inches), but you may run into doorways that are only 32 inches wide.

We have a Valco Baby Double Jogger with the optional toddler seat in the front to make it a triple stroller. We use it everytime at Disney and nobody has ever asked us to fold it. It fits into a monorail nicely even though it takes up most of the standing room.
