Ok, I am down to the wire and starting to freak out.:woohoo: :scared1: We are planning on having one set of shirts with two designs (one front and one back). Are there any ironing tricks to keep in mind?

Thanks all.

I used our cutting board to put inside the shirts when I did front and back designs. Covered the cutting board with a pillowcase and wrapped it tightly so the pillowcase would not slip. That's my tip. Hope it helps. :goodvibes

I've never done two sided but I'd think you'd have to put something pretty thick/heat resistant between. I do my ironing of iron-on shirts on my counter top with a pillow case over it. I'd probably put a pillow case covered cutting board betweeen the layers of shirt for the second side. Or I guess you could actually use an ironing board (instead of the thick padded cover), put a pillowcase covered cutting board on it and then you won't have to worry about ruining the first side while you're ironing the second. Maybe I'm making it more complicated than it has to be. :confused3

Oh that's funny, I was posting while Kari was with the same suggestion. It's good to know I wasn't off. :lmao:

I did some a few weeks ago .. if you still have an actual phone book sitting around .. they're gREAT for slipping in the shirt for doing double sided iron ons .. good luck and i hope yours shirts come out great
