Double Rewards Program w/Disney Visa

Just wondering if anyone besides me has been having problems collecting their double rewards points on their disney visa? Back in June my bill was $1300.00 and i didnt receive my double rewards (the last few statements by balance was a good amount). When i called up i was told that it would take 6-12wks and they would show up as bonus rewards on my statement. Well, this month my balance was only 50.00 and i received 3 credits. What happened to the bonus ones ive been waiting for since June??!?!?! When i called up the guy told me i would have to keep track of them on my own and that i should keep all my statements. Since when is it my job to watch and make sure i get double rewards..isnt that their job?

Yes, it's their job to award your credits accurately.

However, all businesses make mistakes. You have to keep accurate records yourself so that when an error occurs, you know exactly what happened.

Btw, are you sure you were supposed to receive double credits for your entire balance?

Most of the double point offers I've read about have some limits such as double points on charges over a certain amount or double points on only certain types of purchases.

For my card, I only get double points for any charges over $1500 and then only on charges such as groceries and entertainment.

That is true but i do have the postcard still that says bonus reward points for $150.00 and over..so i dont know what the deal is--

If you have your statements showing your charges, it shouldn't be a problem getting it straightened out.

Even if you don't have the paper statements, you can look at your account online and go back several months to see what you charged and what you should have been awarded.

If I were you, I'd get my statements, either the paper ones or online and call them back. Sometimes you get a rep that just doesn't know what they're talking about.

They can look at your account and see what your charges were even if you had no receipts whatsoever. Still, if you have copies, you'll know if they are right or not.
