I was pricing the stroller rental and wondering if it would just be better to take my old double jogging stroller. It doesn't look like much and I don't care if something happens to it. Would it be to big to get around on the buses and boats and monorail. If we decide to fly would I have problems checking it. It folds up smaller then my single stroller. DD are 5,4 and 2. Or is it better to take and umbroller stroller to use between parks and rent one. Mine reclines though and the wdw ones don't.

Joggers are a huge pain at WDW, imho. Unless you have one with a pivoting front wheel, you'll never make it around all those folks who stop short in front of you or cut you off and stuff.

With kids that age, I would recommend that you bring a regular stroller with fully reclinging seat and basket and cut holders and such. The toddler will probably crash out at times and you want her to be able to sleep comfortably without making everyone else stop. If the older kids cant make it through a day at the mall, walking, I would bring the umbrella too. If they can, then you can just rent one for them on longer days.

We have had good success wth our jogger at disney - its a double jogger. we wheel it up to the gate like any other stoller and check it there for the plane, and then use it fully at disney. its so nice cause the older kids (just 5 and 2) were able to jump into and out of it easily to get on the rides and its nice and roomy for them when it got late (were there for night of joy and were in the parks till midnight) - and they could zonk out. we had a regular stroller for the 1 year old which also worked well. I guess you should think about your comfort level pushing it around and such -

I agree with the pp in that the jogging stroller would be a huge pain. Getting it on and off the busses and monorails would be a pain and they just take up so much more room when you're trying to get through crowded stores, sidewalks, etc. I would bring a small umbrella stroller for the 2 year old and if you find you need a double stroller for the older kids when you get there to rent one. Good luck!

I kind of agree with the PP, BUT I think it depends on your situation--where you are staying etc...We brought our double much like the one posted here--for our infant and then 2 year old. We stayed at Beach Club and did not have to worry about busses too much. To that end, you need to weigh in that as a factor--will you be riding busses? We had a rental car-so a lot of times we drove to the parks--unless it was EPCOT or MGM. We are considering taking it again, but you have to take your circumstances into consideration...what works for one family, may not be best for you. You may take it and love it as the one poster did--you may take it and hate it...
