What a glitch!
My kids always are losing thier KTTW card, I usually get a least one or two reissued per trip. hmmmm.

This will be a loophole that Disney will tie up quickly if they can, I am sure. To those who dont have a problem with blurred lines: enjoy while you can!

This is quite an interesting topic.... I'm going to watch to see how long this keeps up. We have a trip in Oct (doubt it will still work by then) but, we can not get our tickets on our room keys because they are 'special' - YES tickets can not be linked.

I thought that when you lost your KTTW card they were de-activated so no one could use your charge privileges or gain entry to your room? At least that's what they told me when DD lost hers.
Wouldn't you need a current KTTW card and your tickets if they are separate?
And, hey, if it does work will you see if it works on diff rides at diff times?

And we are not talking about doing anything Disney is not already allowing thousands of testers to do already- but they get to enter the park with 3 - 4 FP+ in their hands.

Hmmm, Interesting. I received an email asking if we wanted to participate in the magic band test. Couldn't find an answer while searching so I called in. We have AP's and I wanted to make sure that we could still get regular fastpasses if we linked our AP's. Was told the AP's would no longer be valid and since the tickets are not on our room key, the room key would not work in the fastpass machines.
So..... Brings me to this question. Can we use the Fastpass+, AP, and room key for fastpasses?

Adding - From what the person on phone advised I would only be able to get the fastpasses that I book through the magic band (3 or 4??). Neither the room card or my AP will work in the fastpass machine. All I want to do is still be able to retain the ability to get a fastpass for a ride that I want to ride.

Honestly, the only thing I see our family doing as a prebooking is for a show or parade. Heck we have never done a character meal because having to be at a certain place at a certain time is just not for us. So glad we decided to skip next year. Hopefully by our return in 2015 all the bugs will be worked out.
