double dipping on fp is gone

I just pulled a FP- for Buzz. Yep, APs are still good. They probably won't remove AP access to FP- until all APs have access to FP+. At least I not..

That's my guess as well. Otherwise, if an AP holder stays onsite for 1 trip, then for that trip their passes would not be able to pull FP-, but then after that trip they'd have to be able to pull them again. I think Disney IT has so much on its plate that figuring out how to temporarily stop AP holders who are staying onsite from using FP- is not on the short list. And then AP holders would have yet one less incentive to stay onsite.

It's a sign of the most recent times.
This weekend saw a rash of (surprisingly ineptly transparent) troll posts
springing up trying to cause turmoil on this board.

Many here figure it was just one or two unwelcome former posters using "sockpuppet" accounts.

For the most part, they were ignored, but a few
posters were rope in to the bizarre manufactured debates.

I think things will likely calm down, at least a bit for now.

Oh ok. I wasn't on much over the Thanksgiving week/weekend. I guess that explains it. :)

Additionally, if you are staying at any of these resorts, you will not be issued a KTTW card unless you opt out fully.

if that is the case, then they are NOT extending an alternative to guests who do not or cannot wear or carry a Magic Band.

Oh my goodness. I just called the Disney number, they CLAIM that you certainly can not pull both FP+ and FP-. No way, no how. oh my. Now get this...she then says that people who come from OFF site can only get 3 FP- with their tickets and only in one park.
I gave up talking to her. I just called to see if she would admit their might have been a change Dec 1.
Oh my my my. I threw in a "so I can take the bus from Beach Club to Epcot, right?"
Yes of course she said. (lady, quit your day job.)

smh.:rolleyes2 :rolleyes1

At DHS. Pulled FP- with current KTTW and separate ticket media. Checked into WL yesterday.

My sister is still there and she is still having problems getting into the park. Guest service told her that the problem continues because she has two rooms(large family) and they keep canceling each other out. You would think this wouldn't be a problem since lots of people get two rooms. Oh well.

The KTTW don't always work to get FP, sometime she has to put the cards in the machine two to three times. Anyway, she is having a better time today. She only had to spend an hour in line getting her magic bands fixed.

This is a glitch with her and not the system.

Could it be that that old expired tickets and room-only KTTW cards are no longer working but current KTTW cards are working. Would love to hear if someone has tried if those are still working.

That is indeed the case. EXPIRED cards are EXPIRED! People who have legitimate tickets/cards/bands/KTTWC can get fast passes at the kiosk as per the old system in WDW. AND if they go online they can book their 3 FP+…

Gee sounds pretty good to me. And hey ya know what? It was !!!

I once heard a rumor that when FP first came out pretty much any card with a mag stripe could get a FP. Things like warehouse club membership cards.
