"Double Dipping Castaways" September 26, 2014, 5 nights on the Wonder

From what I have read, the Wonder comes into port on October 10, 2014, and then there is a break in reservations. Speculation on the forum is that it will go into drydock at that time. Let's hope this is correct. I did read the blog and it says Sept. 26th is when it will dry dock (Bloggers opinion). I hope if it is canceled they will let us know asap to change our bookings.

Has anyone heard anything more about he drydock for the WONDER?

We need to get some more activity on this thread. It's still really early, but hoping more people jump on. We currently only have 5 staterooms signed up for the FE exchange. Hope everyone is having a great summer. We are patiently awaiting the birth of our first grand daughter in August to add to the three grandsons we have.:cheer2:

Hello cruisinwithmaandpa... My husband and I were just talking about our drive down to FL. We have to start early with the planning as our plans always change to where we stay on the way down and what we want to see :car:

We are not sure what we want to do in Key West. My husband is a history buff so I am looking at the "Little White House" tour. I hope someone on our thread has done Walking and Kayak Nature Adventure on Castaway Cay. We are looking at that shore excursion.

Congrats on first grand daughter. If the due date is at the end of August, I am pulling for the 21st as that is my 23rd anniversary. :cheer2:

We did not do an excursion our first time at Castaway Cay. We pretty much just hung out by the beach. We were there in May 2012 and the water was too cold for me. Should be warmer in September. Grand daughter is due the 20th, but she had the other two early so could be anytime.

Hi cruisinwithmaandpa- I just submitted our FE form. This is my 3rd cruise and my second time doing FE Exchange. I Loved it! It's fun dropping of gifts everyday and trying not to get caught. I know it is early but I hope more people join before the deadline. I've been gathering lots of ideas and may even use a favorite from my last FE. Thanks for setting it up!

This is actually one of my favorite parts of the cruise. I wish the other cruise lines did this. We typically are loyal to Royal. We are going on two Royal cruises in November but usually there is only a meet and greet. Our last DCL cruise I had to bring a separate suitcase for my FE gifts. DH wasn't too happy about the extra luggage. I am also planning out my FE gifts already and have them on a spreadsheet. I think I need therapy.

You are not alone I have started my spreadsheet too! LOL! Yes they do take up room- but you need room to take home all of your loot anyway :)
Our last cruise we gave individual things and a family gift. I loved touring the ship as we looked for rooms. Will we have a max # of people in our FE(just so I can start crafting)? When do you expect to give us a FE spreadsheet or do you have one now we can view as you add participants?

The FE will be open till August 2014. We currently have 6 staterooms signed up. I can forward that to you tomorrow.

Thank you cruisinwithmaandpa! I look forward to that! Can you also tell me how to attach my ticker? And do you have to add it each time?

At the top of the forum click on "ticker" fill out your information. Then you will copy and paste it in your "User CP" under "edit signature". You only have to do it once, it will stay on. You can also have my than one ticker in your signature.
:cool1:

Hi everyone, to try and spark interest, on our last cruise thread we had a weekly question. So here goes. What Disney character best describes you and why?

Ok.....Here goes.......
My husband would be :goofy: he can be such a clown at times!
I would be :eeyore: as i just go with the flow!

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

I always say I am Snow White and my husband is one of the dwarfs (usually Grumpy) hehe, because I am 6" taller than him.

Hi cruisinwithmaandpa! I am checking to see if your first grand daughter has arrived yet!

Last night at 10:23 pm,6 lbs 14 oz. Her name is Avery. Told DH I am already planning her Disney vacation when she turns 5. Lincoln is on this trip with us. Jaxsen's trip is 2016. Landon cruised in 2012. A tradition we are keeping. But am looking forward to the princess dresses and photos in 5 years.

Congratulations!! I knew your grand daughter would arrive on my 23rd anniversary!! Congratulations again!

Just wanted to pop on to say a quick hello. We've been busing preparing for our adoption trip, but I most certainly have not forgotten about this cruise! We're leaving next week, and once we get back, we'll make solid plans for this cruise. We're not sure yet if it will just be DH and myself or if we'll be bringing the kiddos, too. We'll be in for the FE either way, but I want to wait until we know to finalize!
