Hey fellow cruisers!

I'm so glad I found this site...there is a lot of reading to do, so please feel free to point out the important stuff before I get lost in the shuffle.

This will be our 5th DIS cruise - we are going on our 4th Dec. 9, 2007 (4 night Wonder) - can't wait to see the ship decorated for Christmas. We went on a 7 night Western last year and are looking forward to doing the DD this year at Castaway.

Hey there, Maggie! Looks like you've already found Post 577 (link in my siggy). That's a good start to jumping right in!

Thought I would let you know that your son will join three other 3 yr old princes! There are others on this thread who are going on a cruise the first week of December, but I'm not sure if any of them will be on the Wonder with you or not. That would be very cool if they were! I'm sure they'll speak up if they are!

Welcome home...or not! I hope you and Dave had a fantastic honeymoon vacation...of course the honeymoon itself will last at least another 30 years!

Thanks! We're missing it already, Dave kept threatening to drive back to port and hop on the next cruise ship! I don't know how we're going to make it until September without wanting to go on another cruise! If we ever win the lottery I swear we're going to double dip for like a month just doing back to back cruises lol

Why, thank you for noticing. Minnie and I were having some Halloween fun! I am hoping that the MNSSHP will be next year the week before our cruise. We had such a great time at this party!

I talked to my husband about the MNSSHP tonight and the fact that it is the night before the cruise and he didn't seem too thrilled about that. Sniff Sniff, maybe we won't be going after all. We really enjoyed it this year. Well, there is 2009! I hope you have a great time .

Don't ask me why I had it in my mind that this was on a Thursday night, but I did. I'm with your husband though that if it's 9/26, there's a very small chance that I would even want to go.

We'll be heading to PC Friday late afternoon to stay down there the night before the ship sets sail. Besides, my mom is a nurse, and her bedtime typically is 7:00 pm, so asking her to stay up for MNSSHP and travel to PC afterwards wouldn't be very nice of me when I know she will have worked the night before (she's not going to WDW with me the week before, so she won't be off that schedule yet).

Bummer.

Does anyone know the filming dates for the Disney Christmas Parade thingy...the one they actually film at the first of December but don't show until Christmas morning?

We'll be at WDW Dec 3-6 and I'm hoping to avoid that whole scene

Lisa we are thinking along the same lines as you. We'll be at the party (as will Erik and Jason and Chris and Rob). Unless, of course they add one to the Thursday night--in which case we will go then instead.

Pippin is over! It is a bittersweet feeling. On the good side--no more craziness, and no more gobs of make-up every night. On the bad side--missing seeing a group of people we became pretty attached to (oh we will still see them, but not everyone three or four times a week as a given) and missing doing a show that we grew to really like. But, it should mean that I am able to post more frequentrly again (AFTER I catch up on laundry and housework )

This year it is Dec 1 or 2 I believe, we are heading down Dec 5-10

I got all excited when I saw LuvtheEars' post about being in SPH connecting room #5524... I thought that was the missing room we've been wanting so badly. But what we need is #5024, not 5524... drat! My party needs two cabins and we're in SPH rooms 5020 and 5022; the connecting rooms are 5022 and 5024. 5024 is booked, obviously by a single party, so we would *dearly love* to switch them for #5020 so our party can have connecting cabins. If anybody out there knows who has #5024 for this cruise, please let me know! They'd be getting a good deal by switching with us; the view obstruction is much more severe in 5024 than in 5020.

Sorry we don't have the room you are looking for! We would have traded you no problem!

I've been MIA here lately due to all the Halloween goings on around here. Halloween by far is not my favorite day, but it seems we do a lot during this time. I always make Megan's costume and this year she was Snow White:

We went to 3 parties and 2 pumpkin patches! We have a neighborhood Halloween party the Sat before Halloween and tot that night too. It's nice to see most of the neighborhood participate and our neighborhood is mostly dark on Halloween night freeing us up to go to another party.

I also drive the kids from house to house on the golf cart. We only have 54 homes, but they are spread out and have long driveways and the last time we tried to walk it most of the houses turned off their lights before we got to them.

CrazyZeus - We were at WDW last December during the filming of the Parade (It was the first part of December). We just went to a different park on the main filming day and missed the whole mess.

Hello to all the new cruisers! I'm off for Tae Kwon Do and other Tuesday evening stuff.

Hello everyone!

I have a questions for all you seasoned cruisers. Do any of you have rolling duffle bags that you like (or LOVE)! I want to get 1 or 2 since I have read here on the disboards that they are great to bring on cruises since they fit under the bed nicely.........
