I believe I originally posted that we are in a Category 9 on Deck Number 1. Because my DW did not want to be on Deck Number 1, I upgraded our room. And, as a surprise to the family, I REALLY upgraded the room. We are now in a Category 4 on Deck Number 8.

Wow! You don't fool around, do you? ;) Good job!:thumbsup2

I bought Iron On Tranfer Paper that you Print off of your computer.. Now all I need to do is figure out how to use it.. :confused3

:wave2: Hello, Lisa! Good to see you again. How was your WDW trip that you recently took?

Thanks for asking Kimberly. It was very relaxing and most enjoyable. Probably won't be back again until either before or after our cruise.

With all the babies going you can set up your own Flounders nursery. :thumbsup2 You could have gals night out while the guys look at their sleeping angels. And then guys night out while the gals have a slumber party :)

my dd8 loves babies so i'm sure she will be happy to volunter us to help babysit if someone wants to go to palo one night.

hi all
just back from Eastern 29 Sept 07 (had a great time) and booked again for next year on double dip. Have been reading the boards for along time and got loads of good tips etc for last cruise. Noticed all the Disboard door signs this time and thought it would be good to get in touch - have two children girl who will be 7 and boy who will be 4 next time and they didn't get really involved in kids clubs due to not knowing anyone. Maybe could join some meets on cruise or in WDW the week prior.

Have been DVC members for 5 years and all just love WDW.

If anyone has any info regarding this get in touch or ill trawl through the great number of threads

Had a great time this year and cant wait for next
Welcome Aboard!!!
350 days :scared1: I need to pack !!! :lmao:
Me Too Me too:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Hi All!

I'm new to the boards and wanted to introduce myself and say hello!

I'm RetroJulie's dh and will be joining her on this cruise (much to her dismay!) ;)

Can't wait to meet everyone!
:welcome: :welcome: party:
*wave* Hiya!

What are your obsessions and we'll add them to the list? So far we have bookworm fanatics, sci-fi aficionados, mixology obsessions (Yummy!), card-playing maniacs (Euchre, Spades, Hearts, and various other gang signs), and sports obsessions (evidently large woodland animals and cookies like to rumble... *scratching my head* I don't get it, so I'm just nodding and smiling and backing away slowly...). You get bonus points if you actually KNOW the rules to shuffleboard.

:rotfl:

I'm sure Julie told you we were crazy, but you're more than welcome to join in the chaos! :thumbsup2

I love the stuff easy to use remember shirt color matters, they make different paper for light or dark fabric

We will be taking a town car from the airport to our hotel, and I am sure we will be taking taxi's at the ports, so what do we do about a carseat for our son who will be 3 1/2?

Thanks.

We have a carseat carrier that works like a backpack. We always bring a carseat for kiddo. DH = family pack mule

Here's a funny from Fiona. When asked how old she is, she always says, "I two, but I three on the boat." :rotfl:

Babygirl is suffering from croup and double ear infections (started Sunday night). With all her meds, we're on the death march at my house... Every 3 hours, she gets another dose of something. Makes for horrible sleeping for everyone but DH. He sleepwalks to get the meds, then rolls back over and starts scream-snoring (aka, snoring so loud it seems like he's gloating that he's sleeping). Deeeeeead man.

This was me yesterday: :dance3: Looooooopy.

This was me this morning: :headache:

This is me after a nap this afternoon: :thumbsup2 I can survive this!

*wave* Talk to you guys later.

I just can't wait to meet Fiona...she seems to be a riot!

So sorry to hear that babygirl is so miserable. Hang in there mom and dad!

I know all babies are amazing, but I really am amazed at my girl. Today's amazement is how well potty training has gone today.

She's a riot--she combined my sense of humor with her daddy's. She also has her way of thinking and doing things.

Fiona has chosen these smilies for inclusion (in return for my being able to type a reply, I offer this space): :scared1: :happytv: :dance3: :laundy: pirate: :grouphug: princess: :scared: :coffee: :flower3:

My DS Erik will be 3 on the cruise too. He is a real character too. He and Fiona will get along great ! He was wearing a shirt with the flag on it and I asked him if he knew what the flag was for. He looked at me and said, "It's the flag of The United States Mommy" like I was asking a stupid question.........I couldn't believe it. I thought for sure I was going to have to tell him. He has been reciting the Pledge of Allegiance since I got home from work. Erik will be 3 on May 27th...if you don't mind me asking when it Fiona's BD?

We are working on the potty training too! Our newest bribe was an ice cream cone.......but it worked !!!

I know how horrible it is when they do not feel well. Erik had RSV when he was only a few months old and it was awful ! I was watching him all night to make sure he was breathing.

Here's some pixie dust to make her better soon ! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Talk to you soon,
Crissi

Brandie I hope Firona starts to feel better soon pixiedust: pixiedust: She sounds like a doll:goodvibes

Crissi, Fiona will be 3 in December. Her latest fascination is "What time is it?" We finally figured out they are doing days of the week and time in her class, and she was asking us to draw clocks for her and tell her the day of the week. FINALLY we weren't being asked over and over what time it was; she had gotten through our thick skulls what she wanted. :rotfl: We can be taught!!!

Right now the other members of my family are having a poot contest. They are quite gleefully announcing they pooted. Hadley, can I come stay at your house tonight???? :snooty:

Did I mention she's TWO and he's THIRTY??? :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2:

That goes on at my house too, and they're even older than that!!!!! :confused3 :rotfl:

Brandie--I think you NEED to come here:rotfl: Of course my oldest kid (read DH), does that sort of thing too:lmao: I hope Fiona is feeling MUCH better today.

Arin--When the kids were little we would call the towncar company and they would provide a carseat (this was Tiffany Towncar and they provided it free of charge). I always noted it on the reservation and called again a couple days before arrival to verify. Note to those of you with infants, I am pretty sure they only have toddler carseats. In port we always took our chances in taxis. I know that soudns crazy (and I am REALLY picky about carseats and seatbelts at home. I never even let the kids EVER ride in a carseat while wearing their coats--can't get those belts tight enough around a coat). Anyway, at that time (and we knew this from frequent visists to my parents in Mexico as well) very few taxis in Mexico or the Carribean had seatbelts at all. So having the carseat made no sense. We haven't taken a taxi in years (just walked or taken the big tram like thing on St Thomas) so I don't know if they have wised upo about that or not.

Well, Fiona is still asleep, and she only woke me up once last night feeling poorly, so I think the oral steroids she took last night (and complained MIGHTILY about the taste of) were just the ticket. The taste of the medicine was so bad I tried bribing her, and the bribe (pirate treasure--aka, mint chocolate coins from the April cruise) didn't even work!

So hopefully she wakes up much better. On the flip side, I have two lunchtime meetings today and no help from DH because he's back at work. *hrrrm* This'll be interesting.

I'll try and remember the Fiona'isms from today to tell you guys.

Brandie

:dance3: Fiona's fever broke! Woo Hooo!!!! 98.8! She's still not feeling great, but that means her ears won't be hurting her and maybe the croup is getting its backside kicked, too!

Yay!

Brandie
