Thank you!
I am a planner and was told that planning for a
Disney Cruise was not as much work as planning a trip to WDW. I felt lost and confused to hear this, but I am better now that I found you guys!
I will have to work on my signature and those great door decorations! Where do I start?
Welcome, and as overwhelming as it might be to start planning the trip, it is also the MOST fun! A great book that many of us started with is called PassPorter's Field Guide to the
Disney Cruise Line. You can get it at any Borders or Barnes and Noble, or online. Also, you already got the answer, but yes MANY men wear tuxes. Personally Rob and I love dressing up. Like Erik mentioned, we also rented for a couple of cruises, but with the frequency we plan to cruise, we just bought some before the last one since we will clearly get use out of them rather than paying $100 every time to rent. You can rent them through Cruiselineformal.com, although you probably don't need to start looking just yet at that.
Yes, Secret Mickey was fun. A $20 limit was a good idea, and it was fun because it could present itself at any time during the trip. I know Rob gave his to Cupcake in the middle of Karaoke one night in Rockin Bar D, and I gave mine to Hadley when I knew she was in the cabin. I leaned it against her door, knocked, then hid around the corner. (Sorry if it was too early in the morning for you though Hadley!)
As for organizing Secret Mickey--I didn't realize Cupcake had a bit of difficulty with it. Let's wait a year, see what happens, and we can bring it up again to see if someone would like to volunteer. No worries at this point.
I don't know if I was supposed to email anyone, I probably have confused some posts with others. Yes, put us on the lanyard list and we also have a Fish Extender.
