"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Take 3!

OK, folks, well then let's officially get this ball rolling and start our next important DIS project:

OFFICIAL "DDD" DECK-BY-DECK MESSAGE CENTERS!!!

(Note: "DDD"= DIS Double Dip )

Ideally, we need two cabins to volunteer on each deck. One cabin should be on starboard side of the ship (cabin numbers whose second digit is a 5 or 6) and one should be on port side (cabin numbers whose second digit is a 0 or 1). (Based solely on my lanyard list I can see that we do have cabins on every deck on every side of the ship...so this should be an easy order to fill!)

These cabins will each be given a small magnetic dry erase board for their door where important DIS announcements and messages can be put for other cruisers to check throughout the trip.

Please Note: if you would like to be the message center on your deck & side of the ship, your DIS screen-name and cabin number will be added to Post #1 on this thread and distributed to all DIS cruisers.

If you would like to volunteer, please PM me asap (first come basis for each section of the ship).

Hey Erik - thanks for getting this together. I'd freely volunteer but you noted that you already have Deck 6 covered (I'm portside).

I just emailed you our info--so that is one on deck 5 and it is VERY close to the Oceaneers Lab so it may be a good place for people to swing by and check when picking up or dropping off children even if they are staying on other decks

Ok .... I remember finding the dining rotations *somewhere* and now I can't find it again. Does anyone know where it is off hand? My concierge person has asked when we what to dine, and I wanted to make sure we had the rotation that we wanted. TIA!

Post #1 I'm impressed that even in Concierge levels you can select which specific time of Main or Late you want! That's awesome!!

Yeah I'm really impressed, I just called to get our dinning time because I'm trying to set up a meeting between and other DIS family and ours. Anyway was told that they won't even begin to set up dinner times until 5 days before the Crusie. DREA I THINK THIS MEANS WE'VE BEEN BUMPED FROM THE WALT SUITE.

Note the pre-trip has been started.

Erik - you are FAST! I was going to post how I thought this was a great idea, and then I was going to post as a volunteer for Deck 6, but by that time you had almost the entire ship covered!

Just a thought that many of us may have Palo Bruch scheduled for Thurs AM.
