I forgot to ask you all earlier: Where the heck do you find ginger chews???
I looked @ World Market yesterday but couldn't find them. Probably because I have no idea what they look like or what section they are in!

Drugstore.com has some like this: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=94272&catid=48701 I ordered those with my Bonine last year and ended up eating them all before the cruise - LOL! They are tasty!

I ordered ginger capsules (like pills) and those actually work great too. I didn't use the ginger on the ship - bonine worked great. But I have used the ginger caps at home (like for motion sickness) and they really helped. Good if you don't like the taste of ginger. Drugstore.com sells those too.

2- I bought ginger chews at Trader Joe's over the weekend. Not sure if you have them. You can also but them from their website:

where can I find a nice selection of autograph books? ...

I've saved this seller on "My Ebay". She makes really cute personalized Disney autograph books and even a little bag to carry it in. She's had several cruise-themed and pirate ones in the past, not to mention character focused ones. I've thought about getting one for me because they're so darn cool!

The other places, besides the Target check-out line, are Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. I've also been successful at finding them at Homegoods/TJ Maxx, but that will indeed be hit or miss. Here's a pic of a couple of different packaging selections I've found.

As Carol mentioned, ginger capsules will/should work as well. Natural ginger is the remedy, so that's key. No artificial flavors!!

Hey all

About ginger--the casule do work. Dave can get queesy on a porch swing (I kids you not) but so long as he satrts taking ginger capsule a couple days before we cruise and keeps taking them onboard he is FINE (even when we had quite high seas in the middle of the Atlantic ) We buy the capsules at TArget in the vitamin section. When htey are out we got to GNC (Trader Joe's is over an hour away and there is no Whole Foods even that close).

Okay, I promised answers for the QOTW for Dave and I. I still have not hit on anythign great, but here is hte ebst I have come up with:

Me: Mrs. Incredible I am ALWAYS the mom (not just to my own kids, and not just since I became a mother) and I worry about everyone all the time. At the same time I try to encourage my won kids to be independent and I know they can handle lots on their own and I always feel like I am being streeeeeeeeched in a million directions

Dave: He is like the Beast in that he is a big guy and people see that exterioe nad expect a brute but he is really very sweet, and kind and loving. Also, Rabbit (from Winnie the Pooh). Dave is very organized and really does get things done (more so than anyone i know--I never have to wait for him to get around to fixing something). This is a fantastic and wonderful trait, but sometimes (like rabbit) he can get irritated when us less organized folks bounce into his order and create chaos

Just some of my crazy kids. It seemed to handle low light pretty well. I have to try it outside next. So far so good!

I was at Dollar Tree today, and I found that they have SEVERAL HSM products scattered throughout the store that would make great stocking stuffers for Santa to bring or for your back-to-school shopping. They included the following:

• lip balm
• glitter lip gloss
• pencils
• big erasers
• food and candy
• personal-sized hand sanitizer on one of those metal backpack hooks
• disco ball lollipop "protector casing" (there's a gadget stretch!)
• other stuff I can't remember right now

I ordered the camera and 15 of the JVC cassettes (they were $2.49 if your bought 10 or more). The longest life battery (4.5 hours) they had is $69.95 on there. I didn't buy it because I did not know what the prices were elsewhere. Turns out the cheapest I found it anywhere else was $98 on sale so I will be buying that from them. The charger that was listed was $19.95 I believe (it was not JVC brand but Charlie said any charger is ok). The camera does not come with a charger so you have to charge the battery in the camera. I think I will be buying that too. I could not tell how big the cases were on there. I bought a very small case for $19.95 at best buy that it fit in nicely.

I just wanted to let everyone know who doesn't already. There is someone who just recently joined our group. Her Disdoubledip screen name is eyedisneycruise. She has 2 kids and was really dissapointed that she joined AFTER the F/E deadline. I am adding her cabin to my list of F/E participants, for those of you who have enough F/E stuff, it would be great if you could add them. I know how much I would hate being too late to join in the fun. Her info is on the other website.

Arin if you will pass there name and info along to me (PM or EMAIL ME) I will add them to the f/e list. Ill add an area for late joiners and then if those that want to give can and vise versa.. but I agree with you I would hate if I had missed the cut off date. ***this goes for anyone I cant promise much as I know a lot have already ordered there stuff or made things...but ya never know what pixie dust may come around

OH man was today fun! LOL 5.4 earthquake about 50mins from the house. Boy did we feel it. Im on the 2nd story where I work and its on rollers so we just felt a rolling motion but it lasted a good while! As I was climbing under my desk I yelled out is this really a good idea to get under here with all these electrical wires... my boss then yelled from his desk, DREA nows not the time for jokes LOL (yet I have to say I think it was the perfect time for some comic reliefe!) I called my mom who watching P and J and she said it felt like to them a hard and long JOLT this was the 1st one the boys have really been through to remember. They were a lil freaked but ok. My friend works in downtown San Diego (about an hr from me) and she works on the 17th floor and said it felt like her building was just swaying from side to side. Nothing broke, and I told the boys anything under a 6 is good to releave some pressure from the big one happening (or maybe im just telling myself that ) Over all were good to go here! Thanks for thinking of us!

Drea ~ YIKES! A whole lot of shakin going on! Glad everything is okay. My sister-in-law lives in La Habra Hts, approx. 12 miles from the epic center of this quake. She is in AZ right now, but her son said everything is okay at her house.

My sister-in-law helped me make part of my FE's while camping over the weekend. She has never been on a cruise, but I think my excitement has caught her interest.

Do all Target's have ginger packs? Our closest Target, health food stores and malls are 40 miles away so I don't just pop on over frequently with gas so high.
