"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Take 3!

I also finished our sewing projects this weekend...I finished our halloween costumes for the MNSSHP and also made two new Disney ties (one little mermaid and one disney princesses) for us to wear to dinner....and I made us matching bowtie and cumberbund sets out of 101 Dalmations fabric for formal night!

The ties sound great!

..... Jason deserves a big round of applause because I made him do the REALLY hard work.... In addition to finishing up all the lanyards finally, I made the message center boards and we finished all our door magnets and our secret mickey gifts.

...We have a good 8 or 10 general magnets (including our official "disney fairies" magnet ) and then one themed for each day! ....also made two new Disney ties (one little mermaid and one disney princesses) for us to wear to dinner....and I made us matching bowtie and cumberbund sets out of 101 Dalmations fabric for formal night!

I certainly will be thanking Jason in person as well!! So you guys were BUSSSSSY this weekend! Great feeling though, isn't it? I totally forgot about you two wearing Disney ties every night. I'm looking forward to seeing those, and the cumberbund set sounds absolutely awesome!

Yes it is making me really nervous as this is our first cruise ever. Thank goodness we have insurance.

I'm not nervous, but I *am* glad we have the insurance.

Oh more fairy talk! I love it!

Something tells me that even if the Tag Fairy WAS paying attention to me, they probably wouldn't put a quote beneath my name alluding to my being a fairy since they might be concerned about offending me (or others) even though I made the remark myself. So I guess I shall never have such a tag....

.....I'll have to just be happy with my fairy magnet!

Jason and I did lots of cruise projects this weekend...actually we're done with everything except the packing (which we have officially started....putting things in our suitcases that we won't need before the trip...and besides we have only 16 days and 5 hours until we we leave!! YEAH!!!). Anyhow...we finally finished all the lanyards. (Everyone keeps thanking me for all my work in coordinating and designing and printing and ordering...and Hadley for all her legwork compiling lists and everything....but Jason deserves a big round of applause because I made him do the REALLY hard work....I printed the name badges three to a sheet and I made him sit and cut out all 300 of them so we could stuff them into their individual badge holders!). In addition to finishing up all the lanyards finally, I made the message center boards and we finished all our door magnets and our secret mickey gifts.

Our door magnets are quite fun...everyone will have to stop by our room daily to see! You scrappers will like many of ours because we tend not to just print something out of the computer...we actually arts and craft constructed most of our magnets using actual photos, scrapbooking paper, Disney decals, etc. We have a good 8 or 10 general magnets (including our official "disney fairies" magnet ) and then one themed for each day!

Erik my goodness I can't wait to see all the magnets they sound so neat! Please tell me you are eating at the late seating so we can spy your ties at dinner and the 101 dalmation bowtie and cumberbunds! thanks to Jason for doing all the cutting. i spent the other day cutting out tons of stuff I thought my hand was going to fall as I was having to use my itty bitty cuticle cutters.

I need to chain myself to my sewing machine to finish our fish extender and various shirts up.

So remind me to take you into Jeff's garage...to see the cat!!!! Yes, Elgart has been keeping Jeff company for many years (although he did get singed in the fire at his shop in '07)!!!!

Jeff was going to have his boa constrictor done but it was so big and would have cost way to much $$$. My sister put her foot down on that one!

When Dave and I used to go up to Country Junction (well before it burned down), he was always go to pet the stuffed deer heads and I would freak out! LOL!!!

Once again I am knee deep in writing projects.....why do I always land big projects RIGHT BEFORE I go on a cruise? Same thing happened right before the budget cruise.....I was so down to the wire that I made my final submission Wednesday night, and we sailed out on Thursday!

I made the .cut file for the invites today, and brought the computer up to my stamp room (the Haven) to cut tonight. I have them all cut now. I just have to put the insides in them and get them ready to send off. Now .... do I want to add a cute pink or white bow to all of the skull and cross bones?????????? I probably will ..... 'cuz I just need ONE more thing to do these days.

I'm so excited for the cruise and the trip to WDW, but I"m so nervous to fly! Ask my DBF and MagicMe and they will both tell you that I'm scared to fly! Any suggestions to make it easier?

I use to fly regularly and had no problem until, I became a mom. I get nervous sometimes. I try to preoccupy myself with the kids or a book. I find the air on high right on my face (even if I'm freezing) is most helpful. Movie, music, blanket, pillow and deep breathing help too. Movie is double bonus, it keeps the kids entertained too. I hope these help.

Your reward to flying is a great cruise!! You can do it!!!

Think about how my nephew's teacher felt when he took Elgart in for show and tell in the second grade!!!

My BIL always kept Elgart in his office at his shop and used to laugh as people would come in to discuss the work he was doing on their cars, they would stand there and pet Elgart before they realized that he was stuffed!!!


Erik(Jason) - want to include my thanks for all your hard work on the lanyards. I have the same question as Scoutsmom99 - do you have late seating so we can check out the ties, etc?????
