Well... I am "suppose" to fly home Tuesday night, however, I am being informed that Tropical Storm Fay is heading right for me.. :headache:

I'm hoping it will come in to Georgia and sit over us for a day or 2. We could still really use the rain. I hope you don't have to delay your plans for it, though.

Now I have two formal dresses I am watching on ebay and one that I am bidding on. Keeping fingers crossed lost the last one I really liked.

Good luck!!!!!

It seems impossible for me to keep up lately. I do want to say I hope the toe feels better soon, Crissi  , Brandie is Fiona totally back to normal now? and :lmao: I never thought about the Denver Dumb Friends Leauge sounding funny to non locals before, Chris--I am AFRAID of your FE:rotfl2: , good luck to everyone on Ebay, and I am sure there is still bunches more I have forgotten.
The kids had their production of Jungle Book Junior today. So, here are my jungle babies:

HAHA I see you have the bug also... (ERICA see what you started LMAO) :rotfl2:

Aww Hadley they look great! How creative!

Hadley: She is still not feeling completely 100%, but she's well enough to be annoying (throwing books she wants read to her in people's faces, etc), so I'd say she's :thumbsup2

She's a cuddlemonster right now. :)

Thanks guys:flower3: I didn't much care for the lime green, furry "vine" but everyone had to have them to swing by their sides--and it did show up nicely on stage. It was fun making them (so nice to do a nice, simple hot gluing project;) ).

DH wants to know who Marika and Rio are supposed to be from Jungle Book Junior?

I personally love how enthusiastic Rio looks... Marika... yeah, not so much... :rotfl:

Still, cute, well-adjusted, kids. ;) :thumbsup2 What can I say, I don't have to have actually met your kids to like them. Rio has great taste in music, Marika has great taste in books. My kind of kids.

Ok, DH demands Halo NOW.

Wait, I have to tell you this one thing... DH pointed this --> out to me by singing, "Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time...!" VERY weird weirdo, huh? For the record, he readily agrees with my assessment.

All the speaking parts were given to the paid teenaged interns (not the kids paying to be in the camp:confused3 ). Marika and Rio were actaully the jungle:rotfl2: There were about 15 kids and 5 teens in the jungle which was actually the "big" non speaking part because they NEVER get to leave the stage--Rio was so happy to come near the end of a curtain call :rotfl: (the biggest parts always go last you know). Poor Marika was trying to be enthusiastic. Her teen helper totally ignored the two litte kids in the group with her and Marika. So Marika truly did the teen's job for her and made sure the little ones got where they needed and when and the older of the two was our little neighbor girl who is such a handful--so by the time I was taking photos tonight Marika was wiped out (though she at taht age where she is often not so enthusiastic anyway:lmao: ). She adores little kids (can't wait to meet Fiona)--but she had a lot on her plate to do the show and keep the two little ones from falling off of the stage, etc. Oh, and Rio is nearly always that enthusiastic about everything:thumbsup2

Hadley, the kids look awesome!
Stacy, just say safe, please!!
Diana, I wasn't thinking about the 16x20 mat with many Mickey Heads for signatures. Although, I really like that one, too. I am considering the 7x18 which is much less busy. Do you think that one would be okay???

...Wait, I have to tell you this one thing... DH pointed this --> out to me by singing, "Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time...!"

:rolleyes1 "...Where he at. Where he at. Where he at. Where he at.
There he go. There he go. There he go. There he go.
Peanut butter jellllly. Peanut butter jellllly. Peanut butter jellllly. Peanut butter jellllly.
Do the peanut butter jelly. Peanut butter jelly.
Peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat...." :rolleyes1

You cannot start that song and not finish it!

Thanks, Huber! I'll be humming it for days now! I crack up when I hear that song...so I'm weird, too!

Im so glad I know the whole song now LMAO.. before I only knew.. MY version LMAO and your right now its stuck... off to finish my Mai Tai.. well E's actually. I gave him one (uno, 1, single) and he said.. umm ya im buzzed (he is a light weight again thanks to being in a DRY country for the past 7months aka CHEAP DATE LMAO) I think I can out drink him now .... not sure if that is a good think or not :rotfl:

Was going to work on F/E gifts but ya thats would be good while drinking.. We know how well my math skills are while having a coctail we can only imagine how putting together the gifts would be while intoxicated :rotfl2:

I go away for a few days and I have ten pages to catch up on! I love how chatty our bunch is....and I LOVE the multi-quote so I can actually reply to everything I wanted to without forgetting something!!

Hi,
Does anyone know where I could get a cheap (really cheap) pirates costume for DS? He wears either a 2t or 3t
Thanks.
If you're into shopping much, check the 2nd hand children's clothing stores in your area. Last year, I got Reese's pirate costume completely in the girls' section of clothing. Black silky cargo pants, a brown vest with gold pin stripes, and a white button up shirt with big cuffs on the sleeves. It was all super cheap, and looked very pirate-ish once I threw on a sash of fabric (just went to WalMart & found something that looked pirate-sash-like and cut it into a strip) and a pirate hat (from Oriental Trading Co). Luckily, it was big last year, so it still fits for this cruise! Woo hoo!

Thank you all for your well wishes. I do have a good DR who is not willing to write it off as anxiety just yet. The ER did lots of blood work, chest x-ray and EKG and ruled out anemia, diabetes, etc. My DR has ruled out Thyriod issues with another blood test and I am going for an Echo tomorrow. He said that we are going to start with these 2 tests and go from there. He is definitely working with me to get to the bottom of it before he makes any diagnoses. I really am a PIA as a patient (and just about everything else). I don't take no for an answer easily and I think I am pretty good at arguing to get my point accross. I just hope it does not being anything that interferes with this cruise......I don't know what I would do! I just keep having thoughts of me being airlifted off the boat (GOD FORBID, PLEASE)~

I'll keep you all posted and again........thank you all for caring:grouphug:

Crissi
It's good to have a DR who listens to you. Jeff was having some medical issues and our family DR would NOT listen to him..kept blowing off his symptoms. We got a 2nd opinion from another doc and sure enough, he found the problem and now it's fixed. You're lucky to have a DR who is on your side!
You should be able to take Magical Express to the resort and I believe that would be included.

I worked at the Disney Store tonight and I was so excited because my name was in our company-wide internal newsletter celebrating my (and many others) 5, 10 and 15 year anniversaries with the company! I have been back at my store for 5 years in September, but I have worked for the stores and WDW for a little over 9 years but my time didn't count from my CP and I lost all of my time prior to my CP. But I was so excited! :)
  Congrats!!
I was being nosey and was looking at the other meet threads and have to say ours is one of the most organized. I wanted to thank you again Kimberly and all of you that have contributed great ideas, suggestions, participation, and information. I dont see any other meet thread as organized as our Post#1.. aka post #6 LMAO.

I do notice a few others do have websites.... but agian I think ours is much cooler (thanks again Brandi and Hubby!)
YES....thank you to our great organizers of the website, Post #6, the lanyards, the Treasure Map, the FE & Secret Mickey game, the group picture, and whatever else I'm forgetting. This has been one of my favorite parts about planning the cruise...chatting here & getting to know everyone. We certainly didn't have this on our first cruise last year, so it's a fun change!!
Mom, are you thinkng about transfers, instead of Magic Express? Remember, we took Magic Express back on our trip in October of 2006. Transfers go from a boat to a hotel or airport, and Magic Express goes to/from the airport and a Disney hotel. You pay for transfers, but ME is free... so far, anyway.

I'm up because Fiona is having an allergic reaction to cross-contaminated chicken. Poooooor baby keeps saying she doesn't like chicken anymore. I don't blame her!!!

Gotta go... --> ER
Glad Fiona is better, but it sure sounds like you had a rough time! Poor thing....
OK folks, has the Olympics inspired anyone? Usually there are a few who step up to the net for a game at CC.

Anyone ready for a game or two?
Even though ch10dad isn't on our cruise, Jeff LOVES beach volleyball and would be very excited to know there are others interested! Last time, he went to the scheduled beach volleyball game time on CC and there was only 1 other girl there. She was 13 (and the same age as my stepdaughter) so Jeff had fun playing with her because he missed Jessie :) But if there were a enough players for a true game, Jeff would be all over that!!
So, I decided to surprise the family with MNSSHP and then it snowballed into a complete change in our plans :rolleyes1

We are still flying in on Thursday morning, but now we are taking the Magical Express too.........Disney Caribbean Beach Resort :cool1: (Thanks Fatcat!) They have a great Pirate themed pool/waterpark that will be opening right before we arrive. I decided not to go to any of the Disney Water Parks because there isn't enough for Chase/DS3 to do there. So, swimming and relaxing at C.B.R. on Thursday and MNSSHP on Friday  Then a limo on Saturday morning to take us to the port. All of this is a surprise by-the-way. I am way too excited!
You sooooo crack me up! I want to travel with you...your vacation gets bigger & better every day :wizard: Maybe by the time the cruise comes, you'll have changed to the Walt Suite & buy us all massages at the spa:rolleyes1 tee he he
Spoke with my Best Friend *of 12 years* today and was not happy to hear her Grandma has not eatten in 3 days :guilty: I was so hoping to be home to say Goodbye.. Although at this point, even after 12 years, she won't remember me anymore, anyway.. :sad1: She has been in Hospice since I left 4 weeks ago..
So sorry to hear this... hang in there...

I have made 48 mini scrapbooks for my FE and they are Done, Done Done. If I never see another file folder it will be to soon. I might grab it and just start folding it. Yeah!!!!!

Now I can start getting caught up on my kids books since they are well a year behind
I cannot wait to see them! Hoping I'm on your list too...what a creative idea. Note to self...do not give a pack of file folders as my FE gifts...:dance3:
:cool1: Dancey Dance! :cool1:
How Cool is this!
I've got reservations to Dive Quest at EPCOT for the Saturday after the cruise! Think of the stamp I'll have in my Dive Log!
That's something I never thought I would be able to do, dive in the big aquarium at the Coral Reef. I am so-o-o looking forward to this! Plus I may be able to swim with the manatees and mermaids at Weeki Watchi Springs after the cruise. If possible, I will have at least 3 logged dives from this trip. Not much, you say, but it is a start. A definite start.
.
What a neat memory to make! Too bad we won't be in FL that day, or we'd come watch your dive!

Awesome! Good for Marika or stepping up to the plate and taking charge when someone else wasn't doing their job properly. The costumes look great!

Peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly....

Now I can't get it out of my head too! Have you seen the YouTube version with Kevin Federline? It makes us all laugh out loud...

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi all -

Has anyone done the bike rentals with little kids? We signed up for the Castaway 2 day getaway package but I could not get it for Erik since he is only 3. When we do the bike rental, will I be able to bring him along? Does anyone know if I will have to pay for him too? (If we need to that's fine). Are they regular bikes or "special" bikes?

Thanks for any info,

Crissi

I've never done the bikes but I know that my family did on their cruise this past summer. My niece has a 7-month old and she had a bike with a child seat. I don't believe she paid anything extra. He loved it but got bored pretty quick and fell asleep.:cloud9:

How are you feeling today, Crissi?

Better today than yesterday. I was fine all week and then I started feeling the same way Friday afternoon that I felt last week. It made it through the day at work and when I got home I laid down for a while then I felt a little better. I am convinced that I may have what Hadley was talking about (pernicious Anemia). My Dr will be calling me on Monday with the results of the Echo so I am going to insist that they do another blood test for B-12 to see. I bought some at the Pharmacy this morning and took one. So far so good. I have been feeling better and better since I took it. Maybe it's all in my head.:upsidedow

I seem to be better if I keep going to keep my mind off it. Maybe I am just a nut case.:scared1:

Thanks for asking.

Crissi

Hey - for those that can watch these shows over and over and over....

The Travel Channel has Disney programming now through 7PM tonight!!! Including DCL at 3PM!!!:cool1:

I know - I've seen it so many times before but it's pretty cool seeing it so soon to our cruise. I can sit here thinking, I'll be doing that in six weeks!!!!

Hey - we're all nut cases!! We're DCL Dis'ers, right?!

Seriously, I've said it before...you know your body and you know there's something not right. It would be different if you've been a hypocondriac (SP?) all your life (believe me I had an Aunt that instilled this into her children until the point that my 10 year old niece was running around where she was getting out of breath and she stopped, looked at me and insisted she was having a heart attack!!!). Even if it turns out to be anxiety, you can treat it. Just keep working with your doctor and if needed, see someone else until you are satisfied that everything is normal.

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Darn work!!!! It's keeping me from watching The Travel Channel's Disney programing!!!!

I'd DVR it for you but we seem to having issues with our DVR's. The DVR in the living room is still showing a schedule to record Big Brother on Thursday 8/14!!! Apparently we are not able to DVR. Can't check upstairs as the room is occupied. (The landlord was coming over to address the bathroom sink issue. I had to wake Eric and tell him to go upstairs. He was groggy - and cranky - and ended up going in Dave's room!).

BTW - just got the mail and there's a packet in there for you!!! It's from WDW and feels like luggage tags

Now I can't wait until the packets arrive for the second part of your trip (first, middle and last part my trip).:cool1:

Don't worry about DVRing it...that's weird that it is showing that it's going to record Big Brother on 8/14! Did it actually record it?

Yay for the packet!!!!! I can't wait to look at it when I get there tonight!!!! :) I'm getting very excited for the cruise and for the first part of the trip! I can't wait for the cruise packets to arrive too!!!! :)
