"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Chapter 5!

We are packing up and getting ready to drive the kids to my moms in Pgh. and then we fly out early Monday morning 7am for Vegas!!


We went to Amish country yesterday just as something fun to do with the kids.

Did anyone read about the tragic police shootings in Pittsburgh? 3 officers were killed and 2 were also hurt. My uncle and a few people I know from high school are all Pgh cops. sad sad day in the Burgh.

I heard about it and it's so sad! That guy who killed of the policemen basically after being shot said "I'm standing down, I'm shot help me!" - when I read that I was SOOOOO mad! I'm not even going to say what I thought when I head that! What a coward! It's so sad for everyone.

Have a great trip to Vegas!!!!! You'll have to post some pics when you get back!

Dave and I watched Marley and Me tonight. Loved the movie...until I cried like a baby at the end. It was still a good movie, but make sure to have a box of tissues by you!

So loved this movie too I thought it would just be a comedy boy was I surprised....and i think I needed 2 boxes of tissue...LOL...

I worked my first shift at the Disney Store last night since my surgery. It was so much fun! I was trying to sell these Easter Thumpers since we were down to the last few. Well, I ask this guest if he was interested in a Thumper and he called me a Thumper Pusher! LOL! I have to admit, that was a good one. I guess if I'm going to push anything, it needs to be Disney!

He didn't cooperate as much as I had hoped, but we got a few good pics. He kept his hand and arm in front of his face and against his forehead most of the time. He has chubby cheeks and big feet!
