"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Chapter 5!

Kimberly- sorry to hear the bad news.

Will be checking in as I can.
Julie

We had a nice lunch.. Natalie tried 3 new foods today. hot n sour soup, edamame and spicy crab sushi. She liked the last 2, just not the soup. We shared california roll too. ( and a salad with ginger dressing.) she had a great time! :) She smiled when I told her people from fb told her happy bday. ( I will let her read this page too.)

I feel bad all ready for whoever marries this child, she has expensive tastes! she wanted crab legs for dinner. :rotfl2:

Sounds like my kind of girl...with the exception of the spicy sushi! I LOVE crab legs! I think I'm having crab legs for dinner tonight as a matter of fact! :)

Kimberly, hun.. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Amy, congrats on getting the Disneymoon booked...how exciting! :cloud9:

Maureen you lucky duck! Have a fantastic cruise!!!!!:cool2:

Hey Val, I know what you mean about the "busy season"...we are hitting it here too...ugh. :cool2: Sounds like a sweet birthday dinner. Reminds me of the time I was like 10 or 11 and my parents said we could go to Jesse's Landing (an upscale waterfront restasurant on stilts that was the "it" place in town that we had never been to) for my birthday but I wanted to go to Bob Evans instead.:confused3 LOLLLLLL...I never lived it down....

Sarah by herself is enough to wipe me out...what a little booger she is. She crawls like lightning, and is "transferring" herself from table to couch, etc. on two feet so in the blink of an eye she will be running and then I will be totally and completely insane.

I am having way too much fun overplanning this little vacation we are going on in ten..woohoo:banana: ten days! I called the other day and managed to snag a LeCellier ressie, which I am very excited about since Ron tried a bunch of times and came up empty (or so he says). I tried once two weeks out from the date and they had three times to choose from! Sweet!

Have a great day guys!

OMG - I can just picture her crawling all over!!! Just wish I could see her scampering around the ship!!!!

Congrats on snagging Le Cellier - that's my absolute favorite place!

....now I check it all the time specially from my phone.. even in the bathroom LOL.

Ummm...I have NO idea what you're talking about. ;)

Kimberly- sorry to hear the bad news....

Thank you so much for your condolences. :grouphug:

Jen, it's still so much fun to hear of these milestones Sarah has. :goodvibes There's someone who announced herself on our WBTA thread saying she hopes to be joining us. She added that if they do, her baby will have just (or about to) turned 1. That made me think of you and Sarah! It will be fun to have another baby to keep tabs on. princess: princess:

Sarah crawling... that made me smile!! :) It is amazing how fast they grow up!!

We have yet to go to Le Cellier.. maybe our next trip!! and we have heard we have to go to Boma too.

my son keeps asking if we can go to Disney on his bday. I said maybe next year!

Happy Friday the 13th!! the kids have off school today.... Gab had a sleepover and we gave her her one bday gift early, Animal crossing on wii, so they are all downstairs playing that.

OMG, I am shamelessly addicted. However my house is no longer expandable and we already have Nookingtons (the last Nook store) so what to do now??? I guess shop at Gracie Grace, lol.:lmao:

Jen and Val, tell me what Animal Crossing is? I can't figure out if I should get it or not

OMG! I was so addicted to Animal Crossing when it came out for the game cube years ago. I was half tempted to get the wii so I could play it. Does the walrus guy still come to town in the new version?

....Another addicted FB'er here. On Friday, I'm getting together for the first time since HS, an old friend Jeff, in the role of.....drum roll please.....chaperone! :rotfl: Jeff and I have been chatting, and I think he and my friend Dawn would hit it off! So, it's a 3-way date, partially blind. ;) They're both so excitied, it's hilarious.....

I just had to update you all on the 3-way/half blind date tonight!

Call me Ms. Matchmaker! They hit it off like they've been friends for years! They each pulled me aside thanking me over and over again and saying they really like the other. I'm so happy to make two people so happy! It was just an amazing fit. I can't believe it myself! They had a wonderful time...and so did I!

We all met at the restaurant driving separately. Afterwards, we decided to go get drinks and Jeff suggested seeing "Friday the 13th" on today, Friday the thirteenth (and OBTW, I really hate scary movies...I took one for the team there!). Since they both live so closely together and the restaurant we chose is so close to my girlfriend's house, they decided to drop her car off at her house and carpool to drinks followed by the movies. So they left the movies together, and he took her home! I cannot wait to talk to each of them individually later!

Amy: I have no idea what ACrossing is. :lmao: Gabby came home last week and said her friend has this great game, so I bought it. I have to admit I have only played wii once. (we just moved the games to the basement, so I dont even know what the screens look like) the kids love it though. lol, and apparently so do the adults.

Happy Valentines Day!!:lovestruc

Jen and Val, tell me what Animal Crossing is? I can't figure out if I should get it or not

Its kindof a sims style game, basically you arrive in this town, you buy a house, work for the local shopkeeper, then go off on your own making money by growing fruit, fishing, and catching bugs, etc. to buy furniture and clothes and stuff for your house. You have neighbors that you interact with, they are all animals. They are all a little quirky and they speak this weird language that is like talking on 78 RPM. So basically you just live your little life in this town, making money (called bells) and adding on/improving your house. There are celebrations of real life holidays, fishing tournaments, etc. There are visitors that come to your town for various reasons. It was previously big on the Gamecube and DS...but now on the wii there is a wi-fi interactive part where you can add your friends and travel over to their towns and they can come to yours. Pretty cool! I'm not big into games, I played Roller Coaster Tycoon a lot back in the day but I enjoy it a lot. :thumbsup2

LOL...Wendall....yup. He still eats fish and they still splatter in a million peices when he chomps...so gross! :rotfl2: Yhere are a few things different in the wii version, so I say yes! Get it! LOL!!!

Hmm might have to check out Animal crossing LOL We rented Carnival games, and Im proud to say Im kicked E's BUTT... on the flip side both the boys are beating mine... but hey IM NOT IN LAST lol.

Hey Jen, Have you by chance made a spreadsheet for your WDW trip.... E has asked me not to be too comando compaired to how I was on the cruise and I will try once we are ON vacation but until then for my sanity and OCVP I need to be organized. Looking basically for an outline i know my times are different just looking for a set up. (AKA need something to keep me busy for 6more months)

Oh and for you WDW vets. what resturants do you all love! Looking for suggestions

If you are into character meals.
Chef Mickeys at the Contemp is a must. :) breakfast or dinner. :) I love watching the monorail go through.

Crystal Palace at MK is Pooh and friends. (we went there on NYE)

I know you have boys.. but Cinderellas round table is cool if you can get an early time.. you can walk down main street at MK when the park is still closed.

Epcot: Le Cellier.. never been but I hear it is awesome
Japan was good too...
England is good for lunch.

Holly: Brown Derby...get the fantasmic package. :)

Ohana at the Poly is fun.

Hello all. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day!
The family and I went to Seaside (a small beach front town) for the weekend. Not a whole lotta romance goin on at this point ;) but it was a nice relaxing weekend with the kids.

DS Chase is obsessed with his birthday party (not until the end of April) He won't stop talking about how he wants a Pirate Party. So, we went to one of those old time photo shops at the beach and got this picture taken for his birthday invites:
