Speaking of Circue De Soleil... has anyone done the show at DTD? Was thinking of doing that file we were down there... but not sure if the boys would like that or not?

Drea - I've seen this show (La Nouba) three times now. They have some really neat stuff that I think the boys would like. They have two guys that do stunts on bikes and they have a really cool trampoline bit at the end. The are other things too that I think they would like. I would say that of all the Cirque shows I've seen (sorry haven't seen that Zumanity one), this was the best for children.

Val - I never did get to the habitat at the Mirage. Technically we were there Wednesday afternoon/evening, all day Thursday and Friday and left on Saturday to come home. Most of Thursday was spent on a tour bus to the Grand Canyan. We didn't get back until about 9PM so we spend most of that night in our casino (Excalibur) and in the Luxor (since they have an inside walkover). I did get to the Mirage on Friday for the LOVE show but got there in time to pick up my tickets, take some pictures of the theater lobby area and see the show. After the show, I had to meet my youngest DS as we had already planned to hit old Vegas that night.

Kimberly - I saw some packaged paper that first night and thought I'd get it the next day. It was already gone whenever I looked for it. They had some older packages (the one I already had) and then they filled in with resort paper (like why would I want that when I'm on a cruise???). I was really upset that I missed it. That's going to be the first thing I buy on the TA!!! (uh, besides that sailaway drink of course!!!).

Hi everyone!

Guess what?! We now have a limo booked for the wedding! We all went to a bridal show today and it was so much fun! Dave didn't want to go at first, but I'm pretty sure he enjoyed himself after we got there. We pre-registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and got a free pasta maker!

I'm hoping to pick up my dress tomorrow since it is in finally! Yay!!!!

Did any of you purchase the blue 2008 scrapbook and/or the package of scrapbook papers and stickers? I've spent much of today preparing for next weekend's girls' scrapbooking retreat in Amish Country here in Ohio. Can you believe I never opened those up until today?! I'm kinda glad I hadn't because it was fun to see something new! There's also plenty that I can use after my cruise next year, so I won't need to buy more scrapbook pages!
I got the packet too.. I got the pirate one I believe also..... Its in my Disney scrapbook box.. someday i hope to actually make an album ahh someday

NEWER CASTAWAY CLUB MEMBERS: I know that many report that they either never get a Club Card or it comes 6-8 months after they cruise. I haven't received anything. Has anyone else?
I never got the OFFICIAL CC card. I just emailed disney and got my castaway# from them.

Well, our cruise just keeps on giving!

I like the green patterened paper that is in the scrapbook. It's very nice! I seem to recall that they sold out of the packaged paper very quickly. Thankfully I went there the first night and grabbed it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tasteful, non-cartoony stickers as well as those with the characters dressed up in their sailor outfilts. LOVE THEM!!! There's even a cabin's fish sticker that I plan to use on my FE scrapbook pages! Hey...you can't deny that fun getting some recognition! That's indeed something I plan to feature. I've even pulled out little notes people wrote or their customized gift tags to include on the pages.

Okay...Jared looks SO handsome!! He looks so much younger than he is, yet so grown up! The picture of him and his girlfriend is too sweet! I love it!

I very much remember seeing Erica's cabin door. I feel in love with it! I even took a picture of it! That's not the "Color-forms" Mickey that I was referring to though.

So the one I was inquiring about indeed was on Deck 8. I remember exactly where it was, and it wasn't too far from my cabin on Deck 7 (horizontally speaking).

I didn't get those kits. I got one of the older ones and wish I had gotten more. I will go to the shops on the first day of my cruise this time!!! I can always use Disney scrapbook stuff.

I've not gotten a Castaway Club kit yet, either. I called and asked for my number a couple of weeks ago because of the other cruise. I keep hoping that stuff will come in the mail. It's been almost 6 months since the cruise (has it really been that long?!), so maybe the stuff will come soon.

I wonder if Disney is not sending out the Castaway Cay member info anymore since they are really on the "go green" train and also I think they are also on a "no spend"
Couple of examples on this last cruise you now have to ask for napkins at the fast food spots they don't leave them out so you can help yourself also the laundry bags in the rooms use to be plastic now they are cloth and if you take them they charge you $5 Also at the cove they use to have the cup sleeves for hot items and the first couple of days they didn't have any finally around the 3rd day they had some but they were really thin.

Well it is official.. my baby is growing up..he lost his first tooth today. (and he will stay the baby of the family Shell... lol.) After the awful pregnancy and scare with him....we are done. it not, a dr has alot of explaining to do.


I booked my first house hunting trip to Atlanta for the end of the month. John and I are going for 3 days. I have a tour with the one elem school also. This trip to is to look at one more area..and then we can focus from there.

I am really excited! I'll have to have it altered in July, so I'll have to part with it for a few weeks at that time. Dave and I still need to get our wedding bands. He found one he liked at the bridal show and all I really want is a simple gold band.

I'm watching Dancing with the Stars...I love that show!!!

Hello to all my DIS buddies - I have been spending way too much time over on FB. One of my friends from High School just posted tons of pictures of us. It is so funny to see what we looked like and how we dressed then. I an envious of all of you that have new cruises booked. Just not in the budget for us right now. Maybe in a couple of years!

awww, whats a tooth go for in your neck of the woods? Both the boys lost a tooth at my parents house so the fairy over there gave $10.... P told me the fairy at our house is cheap only $2 LOL,I told him you know the demographics from nana's house to ours changes the amount of money... he said "SHE ONLY ACROSS THE STREET" Maybe retired fairys pay more?

John has the cheapest gold band... it was 75.00 or something... 10k. the guy said dont you diamonds, 18 k... John said nope! he has scratched his ring up sooo bad... I keep asking for an upgrade on mine... not happening

I am hoping this summer once we get to GA we can maybe snag one of these cruises for 179. (I know it isnt Disney, but 5 days away is 5 days away and then we will appreciate Disney even more!!)
