Jen - Sarah looks so cute!! That is an awesome costume for her.

Congrats for Savannah - It takes a lot of guts to stand up there in front of the judges......I give her a lot of credit!

Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Jen,

Loved the pictures again! They all looked so cute! I bet they had a great time trick or treating!

It's so neat to see Savannah out there cheering! Thank you so much for posting those pictures!!!!!

I recall that there were a handful who mentioned they love VB.

QVC is debuting Vera Bradley at midnight Sunday going into Monday EST. There will be a one-day only special price (Today's Special Value (TSV)) item and available on Easy-Pay, so that helps on the budget. It is going to be a Very Vera tote and all-in-one wristlet. Colors/prints available are Mediterranean Blue, Puccini, and Yellow Bird.

I'm heading off to bed, so I don't have an item number yet. Rumor is that the two items are packaged together at just under $80. Just go to QVC.COM and look for the TSV link on the home page. I personally don't get into VB, but I know it's extremely popular and something QVC customers have wanted for a long time....in other words, it will probably sell out! Of course they'll have other VB items during this 1 hour show. There's another one hour show Monday, 11/3, at 6:00 pm EST.

Good luck!

UPDATE:

Okay...I didn't make it to bed yet. *sigh*

This is the link for Item Number A86770, which is exactly as I described above.

Retail Value: $110.00
TSV Price: $79.86 (available in 2 Easy Payments of $39.93) + $6.22 S&H
[after today, it will be available on QVC for $97.00 + S&H]

Here's my clan on Halloween:

Dexter as Indiana Jones and Celeste as Dorothy, plus cousin Trevor as "a special-ops army guy" (his description). This was my first year sewing costumes - I made Dexter's Indy satchel and whip, plus Celeste's outfit - and it was such a blast to see them wear what I'd made. Big proud Mommy moment. :lovestruc

And since I'm posting pictures, here's my kidlets on Monday with someone y'all might recognize...

Celeste *threw* her arms around Minnie and said "Oh Minnie, I've MISSED you since the cruise!" LOL

Due date is June sometime, I have an Ultrasound on Nov. 14th and will find out for sure. Either way, I will probably have the baby early. I tend to have GIANT babies (Madison was 10 lbs and Chase was THREE WEEKS EARLY and still 9 lbs!)

goodness girl....those babies were walking and talking when they were born :lmao:

Sorry I haven't been posting as much this week but I will probably be off and on for the next 2 weeks or so. We have a lot going on, finals coming up for school (we are both doing our MBAs), work is kind of crazy and to top it off we are moving. Things fell into place super fast and we are moving east to a new state - the good news though...we will only be about 40 minutes from Mickey's house :cool1: - probably my second favorite place in the world apart from the cruise ship. Top that all off with trying to get ready for a vacation with my sister and

Sure do miss those nice calm, quiet days on the ship right about now!:sad2:

Alright back to the books :headache:

I know what its like to be finishing what essentially is an MBA with a 4 year old and major project at work...couldn't imagin doing a move as well.

OK...as for Halloween photos...here is my boy at his fall festival last week.

Get out and vote, DDD posse! No matter who you choose, exercise your right to be a part of the process (however flawed that process may be).

I'm lucky in that I'm one of the few supporters of my chosen presidential candidate (Ron Paul) who will be allowed to vote for him AND have my vote count (RP is a certified write-in candidate in CA). It's disgraceful that my thoughtful and deliberate vote would not count if I lived in most states in the US.

Here's hoping that you all are able to vote your conscience and have your vote count, regardless of whom that vote is for - that's the way it should be in America! Happy Election Day!

Got up a little earlier this AM and got in line to vote before heading out to work. We got in line just before 7. Our poll was supposed to open at 7 but was delayed about 5 minutes (I think more for personnel reasons than any issue with the voting machines). Waited about 25 minutes total but glad I was able to get done early!!

I just got back to work after voting. I walked right in and was in and out in 5 minutes. It took me longer to drive there than what it did to vote! There was a small rush when I was leaving so I was glad I got there when I did.

I was number 408 which is high for my voting location!

Happy Election Day!

Same here - walked right in, only one in my line and out within 5 minutes - gotta love small towns. :thumbsup2

OMG i love this pic.. saving it for the next cruise LOL

....OMG i love this pic.. saving it for the next cruise LOL

Isn't it great?! I didn't even have to search more than 1 minute to find it, either!

Well I left work early (4:30) to go get in line to vote. I pulled into the church parking lot at 5:00, and I was back in the car at 5:17. I was amazed that I was in and out so quickly! There were many people at work who had mentioned that they voted before today. Maybe that contributed to our very small line! :confused3 :goodvibes

I voted in under 10 minutes today too. I was worried, dh waited 25 minutes last week to vote early. (the line was 90 minutes yesterday).
