WELP I have to share just called Circuit City...


GOOD NEWS they were able to find and copy all 14gigs of stuff I had (probably most were disney images for magnets etc LOL).. WOW lol BAD NEWS it cost me $100.. OH WELL (enter priceless add here... yet I could have had my IT guy at work do it for a starbucks... he tells me this AFTER I take it to the City... live and learn LOL)

I had my dance class tonight and I found out that one of the girl's I have danced with in the past was held up at gun point last night and robbed of her money and her cell phone! Her mom works at a gas station and her mom went into the building she stayed in the car. Two guys came over to the car with guns, forced her out of the car at gunpoint and forced her into the building. They held her, her mom and an employee at gunpoint for about 7 or 8 minutes.

I felt so badly for her she kept crying. It is so horrible. It only happened last night around 11:45 PM so it's still very fresh in her mind.

That is one of the scariest things I can imagine!

If any of you like Target they just marked down a lot of clothes. I was there yesterday and found a lot of shirts under $5! I also found the notebooks of paper.. 4 in a pack or 5.. can't remember. They were only 12 cents for the whole pack! School stuff is 75% off..

Oh, sorry. DS = dear son DD = dear daughter. I have one son that's 17, one son that's 12, and one daughter that's 3. DH = dear (sometimes ) husband

We have found that it can work in that it allows our daughtrer a longer nap.(early seatings we found we had to wake her up to go to dinner= UGLY!) With late dinner we wake her up for the show if we can...she comes back to get ready for dinner and is usually much more amicable for dinner that way.

infection now causing sever pain....codin takin the edge off. *sigh* Currently weare sitting up in my bed with him dozing on me (yep typing one handed)

Okay....I admit it. I just broke down in tears. I am now SOOOOO stressed. I have all this stuff I want/need to get done for work before I'm gone 2 weeks, I need the daylight hours to be home pulling together the last things, and now I need to dedicate time to empty a full freezer and take the hundreds of pounds and dollars worth of food upstairs and out........UGH. Oh yea! Don't forget the most important thing...I need to get a pedi tonight! Seriously. Crying. I have so little feet to stand on complaining, I know. It could be so much worse, I know.

for your Kimberly.......I really know how you feel! Just take a deep breath and do what you can! The rest of us have packed all but the kitchen sink in case you forget anything! Just make sure you have your clothes and you are set! I am stressing over finishing up loose ends at work too! My boss was on vaca for almost 2 weeks and just came back today........just guess, I didn't get a whole lot of my work done at all over that time..........so now I am stressing to get it all done!

I just told my manager's administrative assistant about the new ETA and all the stresses I feel right now. (That's when I broke down in tears...although they've barely stopped.) You know what she said so innocently? "Well can't you just work from home to get some stuff done that you need daylight hours?" OMG we laughed so hard. It's just so natural to say "just work from home", she didn't think a thing of it!

Drea - Glad to see that they could save your pictures! That is my worst fear! I really need to get an external hard drive for all my pictures!

Hey everyone. Hi new folks
LAte seating with kids: I will echo the many otehr comments: we prefer it (even when the kids were small). When they were small the best part to me was seeing the show first (otherwise they alwasy fell asleep in the theatre).
This time tomorrow night we will be happily hangin' out at Port Orleans "The bags are packed and we're ready to go . . ."
WE head for the airport at 1:00 tomorrow. I haev told the kdis if we get hte house cleaned up early enoug when can treat ourselves to a pedicure before we leave

I'm right there with ya...DH is supposed to be flying from where he is in Iraq to Kuwait on Sunday. Then catching a flight to DFW. There has been massive sandstorms so a lot of the guys going on R & R are delayed.

I am flying to the States on Monday from Frankfurt to stay with my inlaws in Texas a few days and to pick DH up.

Thanks.. it helps to know I'm not alone. The whole mess is just gov't bureaucracy... in/out processing... I'm so freaked out.... Fingers are crossed for everyone else whose DH/DW is coming home for this trip.
