Val...it sounds like our kids may end up seeing alot of one another! We may cross paths frequently as well. I am noticing that our kids must be of great ages to go on this trip as there seems to be alot of kids their ages which is so exciting for us. My husband and I may actually get some time together kid free! yay...

I promise to let everyone know how they reacted to everything. Our family down in Orlando is playing a huge role in helping us out with it too so its been one long 13 month time frame of keeping this secret. Our local family doesnt even know! I knew my parents would blow it so they were left out of the loop too! lol...My husband and I are going crazy though trying to be like ninjas all the time and invading the mail every chance we get!

I can't wait to hear how they react! A few years ago, with the help of my dad, my sister and I planned a 30th anniversary party for my mom (well, my sister and I had decided to throw a party and talked to my aunt who then talked to my dad who had ALREADY started to plan the party as a surprise for my mom and us so we kind of picked up where he left off) and it was so hard not to tell my mom about it! I can only imagine how you feel!

Screen names: My screen name doesn't mean anything. When we first got a computer I just thought of googles. Then I found the google seach site. People always ask if I did that because of the google site, but I didn't.

Oh and I can't remember who was saying to bring the Disney Cruise glasses so you can drink out of them for cheaper.. great idea. Wonder if they have them on Ebay?

Tomorrow is Vicki's Bday.

So perhaps I will hint that we should have bread and mayo sandwiches for her birthday meal.

Oh and I can't remember who was saying to bring the Disney Cruise glasses so you can drink out of them for cheaper.. great idea. Wonder if they have them on Ebay?

Another option is to buy the souvenir beer mug which will give you 22 ounces vs 16 ounces for beer.

However for pre-made mix drinks (slushies) you can also fill the mugs with.

And at Rockin Bar D you used to be able to get mixed drinks of certain kinds by the PITCHER

Or if you really want to be cheap after day 1 all the people that got suckered into buying the souvenir glass(not mug) and decided they do not want will have them placed on trays in the hallways. You can just pick it up. When you goto the bar for health reasons they actually exchange the glass. (This is true with the mug as well. They exchange it)

Arin: I could be wrong ( I usually am ) but I think Rockin D bar opens at 1:00 pm. but it wont hurt to go there and try once you board the ship. ( I cant remember what time we got there last year, but there wasnt a line at all for brunch.)

Thank you for the info. I will definitely look into that. Yes, they have been praying that one day they will get to go...it is very sweet and I cannot even imagine their faces when we tell them. We have family in Florida picking us up at the airport in Orlando the day before we leave for the port so they will think even after we get down there that we are staying with family. They will not know until they drive us back to the airport to get on the bus that they are actually going! lol...

I wish I could be a fly on the wall when you tell them! I'm sure we will be able to tell at the sail away party who they are because they will be the ones with the biggest smiles on their faces!

Elliot's Mommy - I'm glad to hear you are OK! I hope they can restore power soon.

Grady had 2 teeth pulled today and they were HUGE!!!

He did awsome and was even able to eat some dinner. He has an appointment to get 3 more pulled on the 18, but after seeing how big these 2 were I'm not sure I want to do that to him that close to the cruise. Doug and I decided we would wait and see how he feels in the morning to decide if we will cancel his appointment. Poor guy has such an overcrowding problem that he has to have the Orthodontist come check his teeth at every cleaning from now on.

I've got to go play Tooth Fairy tonight. That's the one thing I'm not very good at. I always forget and feel so bad in the morning. One time I got the giggles while I was trying to get his tooth and deposit the $. I almost got caught! I sat under his bed about 1/2 hour. The things we do!

I was posting the other day and someone else with LoveTheEars posted right after me. I couldn't understand why the quotes kept popping up with my DIS name, but I didn't write it. I had to go back and look several times to figure out why.

I forget who brought it up a day or so ago in chapter 3, but guess what we just saw?

A praying mantis! It was outside on the door when we let the dog out. I was able to count the abdominal segments. So, does 8 total segments mean its a girl or boy? There wasn't another one around to give a definite answer that way.........& no, we didn't bring it inside.
It moved off the door while I was trying to count, so I tried to pick it up & put it back. It promptly hissed at me & gave me the mantis stance. I thought it was going to bring out some martial moves for a moment there.

Tiffany: Speaking of screen names, I just went thru ALL of my F/E gift bags to add room numbers to the labels and I noticed that when I typed your label out, my auto spell check changed LuvthEars to LUTHERANS without me noticing So, I scribbled it out and wrote in the correct name I got a giggle out of that one, if I woudn't have caught it, you would have gotten a giggle instead

That reminded me of the time I forgot to leave money for my sons tooth. I feel asleep. He came in my room crying saying the tooth fairy forgot about him. OMG.. I felt horrible! I ran in my room and grabbed the $2 I had and ran in his room. I told him too look around, it had to be somewhere.. I hid it under the bed a little and said look, you must have dropped it in the night..

That's funny. It's like the text messaging. I have sent messages before trying to hurry and right as I hit send I notice the word it corrected is NOT the word I wanted.. oops.. it came out saying something like how many did you end up sleeping with instead of how many did you end up paying .. how did that happen, I have no idea! lol

Hey folks! there is no way I can keep up with everyone! I enjoy reading about the different screen names.

I use GammaRee on the DIS Boards and for family-type stuff. GammaRee combines a couple of things; our family has a scientific/techie blend and my given name is Marie. We called my mother Gram (as in just a little bit). I liked the term Gamma (sci-fi nut that I am). Adding the Ree to it was just fun.

My granddaughter calls me whatever comes out. My "adopted" grandkids call me Mis'ery, though I am not sad at all.

Wow you guys. Page 4 already. I only just caught up last night and have had to read through another 10 pages or so tonight.

So I've been waiting for my documents to come. Went out this afternoon to take DD shopping for shoes. What do I find when I get home. A note on our door from FedEx saying they had been and won't be coming back until Monday (it's Friday evening here). Arrrrgh . So hopefully I will be doing the document dance on Monday.
