Yes a terrible tragedy. Amy - he was the same age as Jeffrey and Joey. Can't imagine the pain they are experiencing. In all the things that I haven't had in my life, I've been extremely blessed with two healthy children. I'd take that over all their money and fame any day.

That is why it is recomended that if you have siezures you do not bath alone. It is recomended that you have a person close at hand to assist if you have a siezure while in the shower or tub.

I don't know what they did in the case in question or if it would have made any difference but it did not sould like he was found as soon as he had the seizure. Maybe if someone was right outside listening and got to him sooner it may have made a difference. We will never know.

I feel for the loss and am in no way attempting to place blame. Just know I would not have been far. Call me over protective. Lois

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a great start to the new year!!

I'm sorry I have been MIA for a while. It has been very busy both at home and at work. I also have not been getting my email notifications so it has been even harder to keep up. Plus "the kids" got Rock Band, Wii Fit, and Animal Crossing (my guilty pleasure) for Christmas, so I haven't spent much time online in the past week or so...

I may have missed some things since I don't know where I left off, but:

Lois: I'm sorry to hear about your foot! I hope it heals fast!

Amy/Melodie: What a thoughtful gift! I know it will be cherished!!

Kimberly: Speaking of scrapbooks, wow! What a great job you did! I LOVE it! I am terrible about getting all my pics printed up, what a wonderful way to preserve your memories. I am so going to make myself one!!

Arin: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Aunt. I can't wait to hear about the baby. I agree with you, that I think it is a . I think you would have seen evidence by now if it were a ! Glad to hear the morning sickness is over, too!

Tiffany: I think it was you who mentioned the 4-wheeler rides at Christmas? We do that every year at my aunt's...SO much fun. We pretty much just stayed on the golf cart though since the kids aren't big enough to ride the ATV's. Here is our ride video:

Yes, she is growing up too fast! Three teeth, a headful of hair..she babbles and scoots, rolls, and sits by herself. I don't know where the time goes!

Jen, I agree with Amy...the kids are just beautiful! I absolutely adore Sarah's Christmas dress, compelte with the little white fur trimmed jacket! Your tree is HUGE, too! Oh yea....the videos worked just fine. You are one crazy cousin! Did I hear someone say the gag gift was purchased on ebay?!

Actually, the tree in thde bottom pictures is my aunt's...and yes, it is ginormous. Theirs are always massive. And they always get them at Home Depot the day after Thanksgiving.

Yes...ebay. Search USB pole dancer and you'll find her. I actually found a link to her on the Friday before Christmas, and I just had to get her, even though she cost more than double the $15 limit.

I LOVE Animal Crossing, it's addictive. I don't have the Wiispeak yet. but we don't wi-fi yet either, I'm too afraid people will come in and take all our fruit, cut down all the trees, etc. I am so glad we got Rock Band instead of Guitar Hero, I *suck* at the guitar, even bass. I won't sing either...I just rock the drums!
Wii fit, I don't play as much as I should. It reminds me of an old Commodore 64 Olympics game I used to have in the early 80's. And I won't tell my Wii Fit Age but it is BAD!

Dave and I went up for a get together at my aunt's house tonight with my mom's side of the family. It was a nice evening and I was very glad that Dave got to know that side of my family even better. (It's my mom's cousin and her family.)

Can't wait for Desperate Housewives to start!!!

My ACL surgery is on Wednesday...getting nervous for it. Send some good thoughts my way if you have a chance!
