"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Chapter 4!

It was so hot that day especially compared to Friday! We ordered water to have at our chairs. We actually loved the far end of the family beach gasp more than Serenity Bay. We hit Serenity on our 2nd day and the current there was so crazy people were getting blown around out there like crazy. We saw a few people need help coming in from snorkeling that day.

I actually love to go to that end of the family beach. There's always plenty of chairs/loungers available and not so crowded but you can still here the laughter of the little kids. Yup - I'm there now....drats, someone's at my cubicle!!!

Looks like we have wedding month still don't have the date but we have it down to a month December 09

Congrats!!!! That's such a beautiful month and the nice thing is that most reception places are already somewhat decorated for the holidays!!!

Here are some pics from the Butterfly farm on GC. I kept running around trying to snap a decent picture of the one with the blue wings.

OMG, I love your butterfly pictures - can I steal some for my scrapbook (my pictures weren't nearly as good)?

Kimberly - The other thread certainly does move quickly and I'm enjoying "meeting" the people that will be traveling with us for 14 days!! But, this is still home. The one real good thing about the TA thread is that some of our DD family will be going too!!!!

I'm going to also say I really miss all of you!!! I'm not yet feeling like I'm fitting in with my new Meets thread. It's going SO fast that I struggle to keep up, much less keep it all straight with who is who and what.

My other thread is hardly moving at all. Someone even said "two years is way to far away for me to get excited about this trip yet". I'm like "come on people...where's the magic....unless you start now it won't be any fun....."

I got a postcard from someone today! It was a nice surprise among the bills. I have to check with my cousin. We sent her kids one from CC too!

Jared got a call today from the Marine Gunnery Sergeant. He's been approved and is going to swear in to the Delayed Entry Program nest MONDAY!?!! I'm so excited for him.

It just makes me so proud that all we have done wasn't for naught. ::::::::happy tears::::::::



I just thought that you and E would want to know. Jared had the biggest smile on his face. My baby is going to be a Marine.

We were at that end of the beach and watched the whole thing. Geez - it was so hot that day. I felt bad for the guys in the black tuxes! When the couple kissed, everyone in the area (including everyone in the water) all clapped!!

LOL we were one of the ones in the water watching the wedding and cheering.
