HI everyone. We are home and thinking reality stinks but missing the cruise

We had a great time and I want to be sure to say Thank You to everyone who left wonderful surprises in our Fish Extender day after day after day.

Also--a really big THANK YOU to whoever my (still a secret) secret Mickey was. We LOVE the aprons. We also think it is really cool that the only other time we did secret Mickey we got a Disney Cookbook--so now we can use our secret Mickey gifts together and bake up a strom.

What an awesome Secret Mickey gift combination! Which cookbook did you get from your SM?

She DID say he was waiting for the Boot Camp schedule... I'm waiting for her to ask us to change our cruise to earlier so she they can hang out again..

I am so glad you liked your Secret Mickey gifts. I was really trying to make it something that you would all enjoy! I kept trying to find your room steward to leave your gifts for you but when I couldn't find him by the 3rd or 4th time, I just left them in the FE......

What an awesome Secret Mickey gift combination! Which cookbook did you get from your SM?

On our TA crossing cruise Chris (Scoobypop) gave us the Cooking with Mickey and the Disney Chefs cookbook (it has fabulous recipes--including the Palo soufle) all signed by a "boatload" of characters.
On THIS cruise our wonderful secret Mickey gave us all four matching customized aprons. The aprons have our crusie logo on them and Disney style nametags with our names on them. They are sooooooo cool.

Odd about the spotty service. I have NOT gone back and tried to read all we missed--no time. WE had very good service, though we hardly ever saw our stateroom hostess and she tended to maek up our room for the evening aorunf 4:00 (odd as we had late dining)--but she was really sweet and did anythign we asked when we could find her (in her defense she had rooms on both the port and starboard sides of the ship which I have never encoutnered before). We thought our dining team was excellent and I had really good service in Palo for the first time ever. We had no issues with the staff in the kids programming for the older kids--but the activities were not very appealing to either kid and the family activities were a bit lack luster this trip (what happened to all the fun, themed, nightly parties) and hte only theme night in Rockin' Bar D worth going to was Spring Break Dash (really ufn in spite of the horrible name).

So, is the sickness everyone else has bronchitis? We all have that. Poor Dave has a broken rib (thanks to the tobogan ride at Blizzard Beach) so he is REALLY not handling the cough well. Here's hoping we all get well sooner rather than later

Well I had Patron Platinum on the cruise.

I must say for $39.50 a shot it was not all that it was cracked up to be.

Good thing I did not have to pay for it.

We're actually hoping to go in January or February of 2009 ..... Probably won't happen, but that's one of the only times to go for us.

DH and Brittany's dad own Airconditioning & Heating companies and the Summer is way too busy for them to take off so we won't go then either..

DH & I may go the end of Jan or begining of February on the Wonder cause we celebrate our Birthdays.. 1-28 & 2-1

We went to the 11:00 PM Premier of Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
I loved it. I'll bet some of the jokes and story line went way over the kids heads. As a dog lover, I laughed out loud.

We went too and I loved this movie. Now I have a chihuahau and a german shepherd so it was hilarious to watch I was soooo glad they premiered this on the ship!

Thanks for all the prayers for safety on the way home yesterday. We encountered zero problems and had a very smooth trip.

So how does that work since you can't make reservations until the 14th? Do the TAs have earlier access? That's awesome for you!!!!!

I called my TA yesterday and told her what I wanted and what booking to transfer and she said she would put it in the Hold pile and call it in first thing on Tuesday when the bookings open up.

Our fingers are crossed for a SPH room again, but pretty much we'll take what we can get.

That is awesome, Tiffany! How exciting for your and your family! I would love to do that cruise...but I don't know if I could handle the flight! LOL!!!!!

You can do it! I flew almost 20 hours last year to Hawaii and it wasn't that bad! The planes for the long trips usually have great movies too! Go ahead and book and we can meet somewhere in the US and fly to Europe together! Think 14 days on the Magic!

That is so funny - last night I was showing that itinerary to DH and he was really interested - would be funny if we end up on the same cruise again! Would you be my Secret Mickey again

Yes, Thank you Erik for the great info! Where did you fly into and how did the airlines handle the flights being one way to Europe and one way home from Orlando?

Although I didn't do Secret Mickey's this time, I'm sure that you having Tiffany as a SM was WONDERFUL! She is such a great and talented person!
