Ok..DH asked me this morning if on the 'non special' dinner nights he can wear slacks and a polo shirt or a hawaiian shirt. I told him I would ask the experts here. I'm just starting to get packing items in order and want to start looking for any additional items I need to purchase.

Yes.. DH wears dockers and a button down shirt..

We have even seen people in shorts and Tshirts on any of the nights :sad2:

I'm sure it was NOT funny at the time it happened, but reading about the potty -- LOL!! :rotfl2: She looks so sweet & innocent in the pics from your siggy.

Of course my DD looks very sweet & innocent when she' asleep, too. There are times she just doesn't live up to that though. Guess I'd be really worried if she did.

It actually was really funny. The big kids watch Kids Next Door, and there's a villain named the Toiletanator or something, so they called her that for weeks.

And looks are very deceiving with that one.

Parasailing on CC: how strict are they on the 90 pound minimum. Ds 9 really wants to go. He's tall enough, but not quite 90 pounds. I'm wondering if he's under, will they let us go up tandem? Anyone know.

Julie

we'll that stinks! first costa maya and now 2 hours less on castaway cay.

reminded that "we have two stops at castaway cay"....maybe that person should work two hours more and not get paid for it. remind them that they are still getting a paycheck??:confused3

Yeah!! What she said!!! The 2-4 time is the best sunning/swimming time. I'm really, really bummed.

All these changes make me almost wish I booked a regular Western - at least we'd have a day in Key West. If it weren't Morgan's birthday and if I didn't have the resort and plane booked, and if I didn't like you all so much - I would definitely look at changing...

We're really not getting the "extras" we thought... :confused3

Just Booked my son and his friend for a 2 week visit from Atlantic City to Orlando for $86.44 round trip for 2 people

:cool1: The flight was $11.11 each way per person :woohoo:

I wonder why they cut that day short? Is there something else going on then? That's not the day of the fireworks is it? even at that they wouldn't have the fireworks until after dark. Hmmmm I wonder if we get to spend the whole day there on Sunday?

Hmmmm--justifying us leaving Castaway 2 hours early by pointing out tha twe ge ttwo stops does seem silly. Many of us booked this cruise because of the two stops--beacause we LOVE Castsaway and want as much time as possible there. I do admit to being a bit bummed about this latest inforamtion.

As far as cabins go: are we teh only people on deck 5?? There aren't too many staterooms there so maybe we are

cool!! :cool2: Nice to know we won't be all 'alone' on deck 2 mid-ship after all. I just looked at the passporter deck plan & looks like Lois' cabin is mid-ship also - just on starboard (right) side rather than port (left) side.

My whole cruise gang is on deck 2!!!!!!!!!!

We will start our own party:banana:

Jason and I parasailed two cruises ago and nobody weighed us....and we went tandem so we were afraid that we might be too heavy together but they didn't even check. I bet if your son LOOKS big enough AND you tell them you want to go tandem they'll let you do it. How far under weight is he?

Guys, I wouldn't get really worked up just yet about a supposed change to the first Castaway Cay day... We're not there yet, and there's nothing to say it won't change at any point. I can point to two cruises with differing itineraries from the website, that both turned out great. :thumbsup2

Muushka, do you have two cabins? or two reservation numbers? I see cruise plans differently, depending on the reservation I'm in. Kinda scared me the first time I went into my mom's room and didn't see a few reservations I had made.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION??????

On embarkation day, when you go to Rockin Bar D to try to get and/or change ressies: Is it just one line for everything, or are there seperate lines, example: 1 line to get Palo, 1 line to change dining rotation, etc.............
Yes there is one table (Iin our experience straight ahead) for Palo and one table (again our experience to the left front corner of the room) for rotation/seating changes. It always seems to be one line until you get to RBarD...once inside the door it splits into two. That was our experience anyway....

We are deck 7 aftish as well...7598:goodvibes
Oooh, we were in 7098 on our last cruise (same room opposite side of the ship) We LOVED it!!!!

I just got a call from DCL about our 1st stop at CC. We had a cabana massage scheduled for 2P & they called to reschedule since we wouldn't be able to complete it before having to be onboard. HUH?

Turns out, all onboard for that CC stay is now 2:30PM rather than 4 or 4:30. According to what I was told, Magic will now be leaving around 3PM. Bummer. :sad2: I made mention that our day is cut really short now & was 'reminded' that we have 2 stops for CC on this sailing. Yeah, thanks a lot.
Both days or just the 1st day?

Yep. DCL=Subject to change. :confused3

Good job Stacy, ....tell them to HAVE FUN.

I jumped right on the deal.. They are planning on going to a concert in Tampa on the 29th so it works out well. Plus now I won't be completely alone for the whole time I am there.. Andy is too busy to visit.. Unless he comes down at the last minute

Ok, I'm tired now. :faint:

Well, THAT stinks.

I love our thread...it is sooooo busy! I was 5 pages behind from the last time I checked :)

We're in cabin 7114...the same room we were in on our last cruise last year. :cool1:

Skoi--you've got plenty of time to bulk him up to 90lbs before the cruise! :rotfl:

Hope everyone is having a good day! We spent the day at the vet...dog with 106F fever, can't walk well...oh loads of fun. $300 later, no diagnosis, but some meds to see if it helps. Poor dog.

We did have an interesting impromptu lesson about bones, cartilage, ball & socket joints, the workings of your spine, etc. while at the vet. Reese & I found a life-size bone model of a dog's back half (legs, hips, spine, etc) so we spent a lot of time talking about the inner workings of bones/muscles. Anything to kill 2 hours in a small room with a bored 5 year old!

Bummer about the proposed time change at CC. Perhaps they'll change it back to normal time? Curious why they shortened the day. We just go with the flow on board, so whatever happens is OK with us.

He's sort of husky looking- about 85 pounds. Of course he'll probably change his mind before we go.

He says we should go the second time we go to Castaway because he plans to eat a lot.

here ya go
http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomlist.cfm

hmm looks like no one has been in your room T. You will have to report back on it after the cruise LOL... ok im off to bed.. took me 3 tries to get the link above I had copied and pasted the wrong one each time.. tells you how tired I am. lol.

Thanks Drea! There was also another page I had saved. It was similar to this, but it showed the actual pics of rooms. I can't find it anywhere :-(

Okay, I do have some questions..

I think I might have messed up on The Dolphin Discovery reservations. The only time they had left was 3:30pm. Now I am a little worried that we won't be back in time for the ship if they leave early. :scared: Did anybody else book the 3:30? How far is it from the ship? Also, I think I heard somebody say if you book 4 reservations for this they will take you for free to the park. Is that right? Do I just show them the receipt or what do I need to do? I didn't book through Disney.

My other question is what restaurant is a must see or must eat at in the Downtown Disney area? There are so many to choose from I'm not sure which one to try. Do you usually have to make reservations?

Thanks!:worship:
