Travel Channel's Samantha Brown celebrates "Season of Disney"

Samantha Brown is going to give us "Season of Disney," and it sounds like the folks at Walt Disney World should be overjoyed.

Travel Channel announced four programs in "Season of Disney," which will air at 9 p.m. Fridays, starting April 11.

The first will be "Season of Disney: Samantha Brown's Favorites," in which she discusses what she likes best at Disney World and Disneyland.

Travel Channel offered this preview: "In the parks, she encounters wild animals on the Wanyama Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, dines at the chef's table at Napa Rose Restaurant, steps inside Disneyland's Dream Suite, stops for a fruity refreshment at Tropical Imprts and watches Cirque du Soleil's 'La Nouba' acrobatic and modern dance performance."

"Season of Disney: On a Dime" premieres April 18. Disney World guests provide money-saving tips.

"Season of Disney: Splurge!" debuts April 25. Travel Channel says the program offers "a guided tour through the many extravagant amenities, activities and events."

"Season of Disney: Royal Treatment" bows May 2. At the Magic Kingdom, the program looks at a wedding and a sweet 16 party.

Sweet! I love Samantha Brown and want to know how I can get her job. Can't WAIT to watch.

Here is a shirt I had ordered from Cafe Press last fall. You can also see a journal I ordered from their site as well. As I stated when I initially posted this picture, THIS style of t-shirt does run small in size. Others have reported that the "regular" t-shirts fit-to-size. So.....we need to order new shirts!

That reminds me.....I need to try and order mine. Maybe I will do that this weekend.

I think DCL should make it be mandatory..

I was a NKTOB groupie (No I didn't, but I did meet them all and hang out with them ). My BFF and me actually followed them around. Being a little bit older we got backastage all the time or would stay at thier hotles

I kept so much of my old NKOTB stuff buttons, napkins, books...even comic books. Maybe I should see if they are worth something

Now its me who is Jealous

Steve and I were just talking about the shirts tonight at dinner and how I have to order them. Are most people wearing them the day we board? How long did they take from when you ordered them to when you received them? I am TRYING to lose some weight before the cruise so I would like to wait as long as I can before placing my order.;

My order got lost in la-la land. Their system on-line said the order was in process, and it got stuck there. After 2.5 weeks, I reached out to them and was told a product was on backorder, although I don't know what item. Truth be told, I think there was just a system error because 2 days later, it was on my doorstep from priority shipping.

You know Joey McIntyre played "Fiyero" in the show Wicked for a good while...in fact he was in the show towards the end of Idina Menzel's run as Elphaba....he was her Elphaba when she had the accident during the melting scene and again when she came back for the curtain call of her final scheduled show. He was pretty good in the show.

I saw him as Fiyero. The first time was near the beginning of his stint, so he was still getting the role...but by the second and third time...he was great! I got his autograph by the stage door...and Idina's! It was a great night that night!!!

Dont know if this has already been mentioned but Southwest is saying they will open up Sept flights starting April 17th. If this ends up being incorrect, please don't throw me off the boat when we get there.

Keeping in the theme of Disney specials, I just learned that on Saturday, April 12, the Fine Living channel will feature Walt Disney World on their "What You Get for the Money" program. In our market, it's airing at 11:00 pm EDT.

Check out their website for a synopsis as well as other upcoming dates and times.

It is mandatory now...anyone not wearing a pirate costume on pirate night is forced to walk the plank...no questions asked, no excuses, no exceptions!

This is Pfishgirl's Uncle Bud on Pirate Night. Since Uncle Bud is not going on the cruise, but I am, I'm bringing this shirt. He got the face paint from the Kids Club and surprised us all with the makeup.

Isn't it great?! A very nice DISer, Tom, who I met from the "Creative DISigns" thread, made them for me. His screen name is "ImTooExcitedToSleep". He created them for me back in early January.

(Shoot...now I look at the other version I had him make (different than what's on my Avatar), and now that my Grandmother is going with us, I think I need to have them remade with a new title of "Three Generation" instead of "Birthday" cruise.)

Anywhooooo.... I'm going to make magnets out of them for our door decoration, each with our names on it.

Thanks for the info. I am going to try and track him down for one.
