We didnt get Palo brunch last year when we tried booking online at 90 days. We were on the boat around 130ish and I went straight to Rockin D bar and got a brunch right away. :)

At this point I doubt we will be getting Palo for brunch so we will be part of the mad dash to the Rockin D bar to try and get it onboards

I just checked disneycruise.com and our cruise is no longer an option :confused3 I checked the western 2 stops at Castaway Cay and the only date is Nov 2009 and the Regular Western doesnt give any Sept 2008 dates, hopefully they are fixing it as I type

Dear Ms. Sergent:

Thank you again for your email.

As I mentioned previously, we are committed to offering the most up-to-date information in a timely manner and apologize for the delay in the information being updated on our website. The information has since been corrected.

Sincerely,

I guess to fix it they removed them. I would think that if they can add a pop up to advise people of changes due to storms that they could of done something like that. My e-mail says the information as been corrected and it just seems to me that all they did was removed the option. This just blows my mind. One would thing that life should not be this difficult. Hopefully once the tech have time to insert the corrected information the cruises will Magically reappear. Lois

Sometimes it does take time to make the changes that appear to be simple. It's not always a change on the front end (what you see on your screen), but also programming "behind the scenes". I know it's difficult to sometimes think it's more work that what meets the eye, but working in this kind of stuff every day myself, I frequently have to explain to my internal clients that it won't be fixed in 30 minutes, but maybe a week (not that I'm saying that's the case here).

Personally, I think it's more accurate to not show the cruise as an option than deceive people by thinking they're paying to go to an usual port that typically isn't offered by DCL. That's like having $1500 rims on a car when you take it for a test drive, but when it is delivered, you have the factory standard. Frankly, I am impressed that your email was flagged for a follow-up when it wasn't impacting you directly! THAT is good customer service, imo. They knew that you had concerns for others who want to buy, so they wanted to let you know it's being/been addressed.

So is it really fixed as they said? No. You're right. It is not. Yet imo, they're taking a step in the right direction. :)

Paid off my cruise today and transfered it to Costco Travel for 275.00 credit on top of my onboard booking deal!!! I hope that is the best deal out their but if anyone knows of a better one - let me know! I have another cruise to pay of soon.

ok sooooooo I "think" we have our excursions ALL planned out.. :confused3

CC = Parasail & Wave Runner for DS too

GC = Aquaboat & Snorkel

CZ = Tulum Ruins

CC = a day to Relax!!

But then again.. There are 4 days left so who knows :headache:

Hi All,
Rio and I are back from our "One Fine Day in the Bean City" with Hoagie Pie and family. We had a blast with them (spent all day at the Museum of Science).
Kiberly, thanks for posting a Question. I spaced it entirely.
Our answers:

Me--I like brigth colours like: Lime Green, Fuschia, Turquois, Orange, Teal, etc (you get the picture)
Dave--Black. He is always the black piece in a game, wants black cars, etc.
Marika--She's not here for me to ask. It tends to change often but Sea Blue, Bright Purple and Red have been popular.
Rio--"All colors really, a whole rainbow but I guess Wicked Green is extra special to me right now":rotfl:

A little better deal, if you have Sam's premier (or what ever it's called) membership. They give a $200 gift card plus and extra $100 for the premier membership for a total of $300. But this is depending on the cruise. We got it for this one.
Unless the on board booking deal is something other than the Visa OBC, in which case you got a great deal!

I agree with everything you said whole heartedly. I would have felt better if they had made the corrections at the same time that they cancled the port. I am sure that if they knew it was a possiblity they could have thought out what needed to be done ahead of time. But as they say hine sight is 20/20. Thank you for your comments. Lois

Woo hoo! A Disney wedding! We're all wearing princess dresses! Seriously- here's hoping you can do that someday. I'm very culturally traditional, but not when it comes to that topic. I think any two, legal age people should be able to marry. If you're willing to make that commitment, you should be allowed to.

Anyway- we've decided on no excursions. The two little kids (okay, Alex) won't stay on board with the grandparents, and everything we'd want to do isn't little-kid friendly. Or if it is, too expensive. Without dh around to do overtime, we have to watch the spending on this cruise.

Bummer about the tea being all gone. I really want to do that, but I'll be up Friday night anyway, so I'll try.

Favorite colors:
me: blue-violet
oldest dd Sadie: any shade of dark purple (has to be dark)
oldest ds Sig: laser lemon (he wants to dye his hair yellow)
youngest dd Madalyn: pink, nothing fancy, just pink
youngest ds Alex: yellow, since it's the only color he can say in English.
dh Steve (even though he's not coming) anything that's not desert camouflage, but probably black.

I'm so tired. All this having four kids, one with medical issues, one playing basketball, with no spouse around is wearing me out. I hope the little ones like the clubs because I'm looking forward to a break, especially after three days in WDW before the cruise.

Julie, I really give you credit. I don't think I would fare half as well as you under those circumstances........just think, one more day closer!

Ok...all this talk of Wicked...

I've never seen it, but is it something appropriate for a 5 year old? One of Reese's favorite movies in the WORLD is Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (the performance with Donnie Osmond). He loves, loves, loves musicals, and it sounds like Wicked is OK for his age?

You guys with all this "Elphaba" talk have me curious now....

My hat's off to you, Julie. I have 'issues' dealing w/our ONE when DH is later getting home than normal & its just me. I can't imagine trying to handle 4 all by myself!!! I don't know how single parents do it. (even if its 'single' for a 'short' period of time) :confused3 I'd be pulling my hair out in no time.

Okay probably an easy question but how do you transfer this to Costco? And are you sure we would still get our credit for booking onboard?

Well, DBF just called me and told me that not one, but BOTH of our flights have changed and they never even notified us! GRRRR!!!! We were schedule for a 12:06pm departure on the 4th of October (it's my birthday, my twins birthday as well as my mom's birthday so we were hoping to get home to have dinner with them) and they changed it to an 11:19 am departure! Do you think we would make it or should we try to change our flight? Going down doesn't really matter much, I have the day off so I don't have to worry about work.

The worst part of all...I don't really like to fly! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

OH IM a lil po'ed... I just read this and went to check ours.. and they have changed ours too.

Not so worries on the incoming
we were leaving at 7am arriving at 430
now they have us at 7am arriving at 515 a lil more time inbetween changing planes

but the one going home is what ticks me off
had 8am leaving orlando arriving at 1209pm
now its changed to 730 am arriving at 1244pm... so that means UP even earlier and a longer time inbetween changing planes.

I had booked for 8am cuz that got us home at a desent hour to relaxe before the boys and I went back to school and work. Anything later then the 8am had a return of like 8pm or so. UGGG but now we have to get up even earlier after visting the parks.. UGGGGGGGG... lol E and the boys are not gonna like that LOL
