The count down in on. The kids have made the official countdown chain, countdown calendar, and the countdown sticker books... can you tell they are excited???

Today is day 100 for our second trip to WDW. This will be the slowest 99 days of my life. I can't wait to go again, and this time for Christmas time. :yay: :santa: :yay:

Anyone else wishing the days away???

I am there with ya! I just hit 99 today, we'll be there at the same time.

We can wish the days away, and then hope they slow down so we can enjoy our trips!:yay:

It looks like POP is going to be the hot spot! :goodvibes

My kids are trying to decide how they want to decorate the window. I had to stop my DD at bringing a little x-mas tree to decorate... :lmao: :lmao: She was so adorable about the whole thing, though!

*Sighing* I don't think I have another thing to plan out, but I sit here every night hoping for something new and interesting to put my planning NEED to... Its a sickness, really!

Come on day number 98...

I actually asked my DD20 if she wanted a small tree in the room...:rolleyes1
I just don't feel like packing it now! But, we will have the door/window decorated. ANd we will be on the look-out for Pookie Lee!

I will be sending some things down for decorating, and eating. My daughter's 9th birthday is at the end of the month and part of our trip funds were donated by her (she gave up a "girl" party and presents to go to WDW). So, I want to make sure we have some b-day stuff for her. I thought it was quite the sacrifice for a 8YO to give up birthday presents from us for a trip to see Mickey!

This is our first time at POP and we are excited! I have looked at every pic I could find and am just getting more and more thrilled about the POP pick.

99 DAYS!!!!

I was at POP back in 2005 right before Christmas. My favorite part of the resort/grounds wasn't even captured on camera... it was the Christmas music that was piped in! Every morning we would hear Elvis' "I'll have a bluuuuuue Christmas without you...." It was actually very funny. My friends and I are from Memphis and we just rolled our eyes everytime! we enjoyed hearing all the different songs from the different decades in the food court and walking around the grounds. They also had different Christmas shows and movies on for the kids on the TVs in the food court and lobby.

I can't wait! :cool1:

And Happy Birthday to your DD! That was very noble of her to share her birthday money!

That is funny! My kids asked me the other day why Shirley Temple wasn't in movies now. No joke, this is a quote from my DD: "She is so cute, why isn't she is movies anymore?" I just about died. I had to explain to her that Shirley Temple was born 80 years ago... and that those movies about 65-70 years old. :rotfl: My DD didn't want to believe me! Trying to explain the music and the muscians will be a blast!

My DD is quite the planner. She explained that giving up her BDay money would actually get her MORE if she was at Disney. Who am I to argue with that logic??? ;)

Very smart girl! :thumbsup2

Do you have a pre-trippie started? I would love to hear your plans and see if we have any days in common!

:lmao: Do I have plans??? :lmao: Some people say I am an anal control freak... actually they are right! I LOVE planning our WDW trips, and would do nothing else for months if I could.

Here is the plan:

Dec 13- arrive and check in
- Go to MK
- dinner at Crystal Palace 6:35

Dec 14- HS
- Lunch Sci Fi 12:25
- may go back for a nap

Dec 15- AK for EMH
- dinner Tony's 6:05
- stay at MK for LMH

Dec 16- Epcot for EMH
- lunch at Coral Reef (with diver!!!:yay: ) 12:25

Dec 17- Breakfast at Chef Mickey's 8:15
- free day! (probably spent at DTD or hopping, or both)

Dec 18- may do MK for EMH or not
- departure from POP around 2:30 (guesstimation on 5:15 flight)

I have a color coded spreadsheet going with all of the firework/ parade times, and the EMH/LMH's. I can't find anything else to plan right now other than printing off menus for counter services! :)

It looks like we might bump into each other on the 13th. Are you staying for Wishes and Spectro that night?

I am literally laughing outloud! YES! :rotfl: :rotfl2: We share the same issues!!!

I am planning on staying if we can survive that long. We have a 6am flight, which means we have to leave the house at 3... up around 2  So, the kids might just crash after dinner.

71 DAYS TO GO!!! Boy, its been crazy the last few weeks. I can't believe the days are going so quickly. At the end of the month we will hit the magical 45 days... unbelievable! *sighing* I can't wait!!!

On a good note, the cold weather has already started, so it will make a trip to sunny Florida in December all that much better! I had to turn the furnace on yesterday!

I agree.....The rotten Upstate New York weather has already kicked in! I've got 53 days til I leave for sunny Fla. for our vaction!
